Christ pre-existed but Jesus didn't John 1:1-4

Christ pre-existed but Jesus didn't John 1:1-4

In contrast to orthodox Christians, Valentinians did not believe that Christ was joined to Jesus at his birth. Instead, they insisted that Christ became joined to Jesus only at the beginning of his ministry i.e. at his baptism. The dove which descends upon Jesus at the baptism was understtod as Christ descending on Jesus and joining with him (Irenaeus Against Heresies 1:7:2, 1:15:3, 3:16:1, 3:10:3, Excerpts of Theodotus 61:6,26:1 Hippolytus Refutation 6:35:3). Christ is "the Name which came down upon Jesus in the dove and redeemed him" (Excerpts of Theodotus 22:6 cf. Gospel of Philip 70:34-36).Jesus was anointed with the Spirit of God at his baptism in the Jordan.

In the beginning was the LOGOS - (the outward manifestation of the inward thought)
the LOGOS WAS with God. (Yahweh and His Divine Plan could not be separated)
the LOGOS was God - (God and the Logos are one).

Christ, the Word, who “in the beginning laid the foundations of the earth,” therefore pre-existed before the birth of “the body prepared” of the substance of Mary, and which lay dead in the tomb. That body named Jesus, had no existence until developed by the Christ-Power. Federally, indeed, it pre-existed in the loins of Abraham and in Adam, as Levi was in Abraham, and we in Adam, before birth; but not otherwise. (On the Nature of Christ February 22nd, 1867 by
Eusebia J. Lasius)

The pre-existent Christ, or Deity, was not the less Deity because he veiled himself in flesh, in our “sinful flesh,” or “sin’s flesh,” and styled himself JESUS, or he who shall be Saviour. (Dr. Thomas letter to Robert
Robert July 17th, 1869)

In reference to those words of Jesus, saying,—“The bread I give for the life of the world is my flesh” (John 6.) For the bread of the Deity is He, who descending out of the heaven, and giveth life to the world.’ This was as much as to say, that the manna was representative of a life-imparting agent from heaven: even the Logos speaking by Jesus. ‘In him’—the Logos, ‘was Life,’ says John ‘and the Life, was the light of men.’ It was this Logos who said, ‘I am the Way and the Truth; the Resurrection and the Life’: ‘I am the Bread of Life,’ or the manna: ‘I came down from heaven’: this is the bread which descendeth from heaven, that a man may eat thereof and not die’ . . . ‘If any man eat of this bread he shall live in the age: and the bread that I (the Logos) will give is my flesh, which I will give for the life of the world. (Eureka -- Vol 1 -- Chap 2 -- Sec 3: 8. The Hidden Manna)

Jesus was not literally the Word. He was the word "made flesh". (John:14). Jesus is the complete manifestation of the logos - "in him dwelleth all the fullness of the Deity bodily." (Col. 2:9). It was the "logos" which was in the beginning with God, not Jesus. When the "word was made flesh" (John 1:14) then, and then only, Jesus became the "Word".
Jesus is called the Word (Rev. 19:13 cf. 1 John 1:1; Luke 1:2) since his doctrine and words came from his Father (John 7:16; 17:14). He was the logos lived out in speech and action, not merely written on scrolls. (wrested scriptures)

Jesus Christ in the day of his weakness, had two sides—the one, DEITY; the other, MAN—the Eternal Christ-Power or the anointing spirit veiled in, and manifested through the flesh created from the ground; which flesh had Willfully transgressed the Divine Law, the penalty of which sent it back into the dust from whence it came. This is Jesus Christ the true Deity, whom to know is life eternal. (Dr. Thomas letter to Robert Robert July 17th, 1869)

This flesh which inhabited Paradise, like all the beasts. Was “very good” of its sort, is described as “sin” and “sin’s flesh,” because it sinned or transgressed the Eden law. Our flesh is the same as Adam’s before he sinned, only the worse for wear: for Paul says that we sinned in him, and he was sinless before he sinned; and we were as much in his loins when he was sinless, as in the act of sinning. His flesh undefiled by sin is constitutionally the same as the flesh of his posterity defiled legally thereby. The Christ-Deity veiled himself in the Adamic nature defiled by sin, in order that he might condemn sin in the flesh and to condemn sin to death in the nature which, although created “very good,” had legally defiled itself by transgression of the Eden law. This purpose would have been defeated if he had veiled himself in a clean nature. (Dr. Thomas letter to Robert Robert July 17th, 1869)

To say that the Man, Jesus, was corporeally clean, or pure, holy, spotless, and undefiled, is in effect to say that he was not “made of a woman;” for Scripture teaches, that nothing born of woman can possibly be clean: but it is testified that he was “born of a woman;” he must therefore necessarily have been born corporeally unclean. Hence, it is written of him in Psalm 51:5, “I was shapen in iniquity; and in sin did my mother conceive me.” He therefore prays, “Purge me with sop and I shall be clean; wash me, and I shall be whiter than snow.” This prayer has been answered, and he has been “Washed thoroughly from his (corporeal) iniquity, and cleansed from his sin;” so that now he has a clean nature, which is spirit and divine—“the Lord the Spirit”—once dead as to flesh, but now alive as Spirit for evermore.—(Rev. 1:18.) (Dr. Thomas letter to Robert Robert July 17th, 1869)

I believe that Christ pre-existed but Jesus didn't. It may sound complicated but it isn't really.

It's about God Manifestation - ultimately the angels the "focalisations of the Spirit", Jesus Christ and the Saints are all manifestations of God (which is why Jesus says "does it not say in your law Ye are gods?").

The exhortation is that we need to behave like that now, while we are in the flesh, because once the flesh is removed we will only be as much Spirit as has been developed in us.

The Christ descended on Jesus at his Baptism Matthew 3-16

And he died at the .departure of the Spirit which had descended upon him in the Jordan, not that it became separate but was withdrawn in order that death might also operate on him, since how did the body die when life was present in him? (Theodotus 61:6)

Proof:

How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. (Acts 10:38). (Christadelphian Instructor 1891)

The dove represented the anointing spirit of God. This spirit entered the body of Jesus Christ and remained in him until Jesus was crucified.

So we read...

Matthew 3:16 Having been baptized, Jesus immediately rose up from the water and look! The heavens were opened up and he saw the spirit of God descending as if a dove coming upon him.

God giveth not the spirit by measure unto him," John 3:34

Again, in his gospel narrative (John 1:14), he says: —" The Word was made flesh and dwelt among us, full of grace and truth," from which it is evident that Christ was a divine manifestation—an embodiment of Deity in flesh—Emmanuel, God with us. " God giveth not the spirit by measure unto him," says the same apostle (John 3:34).
(Christendom Astray Chapter 6)

The spirit descended upon him in bodily shape at his baptism in the Jordan, and took possession of him. This was the anointing which constituted him Christ (or the anointed), and which gave him the superhuman powers of which he showed himself possessed. (Christendom Astray Chapter 6)

This is clear from the words of Peter, in his address to the Gentiles in the house of Cornelius —(Acts 10:38)—" God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed."
(Christendom Astray Chapter 6)

This statement alone is sufficient to disprove the popular view of Jesus been co-equal and co-eternal. If he were "very God" in his character and nature as Son, why was it necessary he should be "anointed" with spirit and power?
(Christendom Astray Chapter 6)

Jesus did no miracles before his anointing. He had no power of himself. This is his own declaration: "I can of mine own sell do nothing" (John 5:30). "The Father that dwelleth in me, he doeth the works" (John 14:10). At his death Jesus was left to the utter helplessness of his own humanity, he felt the severe mental and physical pain of his suffering that hour and cried out, "My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (Matt. 27:46).
(Christendom Astray Chapter 6)

Before his anointing, he was simply the " body prepared " for the divine manifestation that was to take place through him. The preparation of this body commenced with the Spirit's action on Mary, and concluded when Jesus, being thirty years of age, stood approved in the perfection of a sinless and mature character.
(Christendom Astray Chapter 6)

After the Spirit's descent upon him, he was the full manifestation of God in the flesh. The Father, by the Spirit, tabernacled in Christ among men. "God was in Christ," says Paul, " Reconciling the world unto himself, not imputing their trespasses unto them."
(Christendom Astray Chapter 6)

When raised from the dead and glorified, he was exalted to "all power in heaven and earth"; his human nature was swallowed up in the divine; the flesh changed to spirit. Hence, as he now exists, " In him dwelleth all the fullness of the God-head bodily " (Col. 2:9). He is now the corporealisation of life-spirit as it exists in the Deity.
(Christendom Astray Chapter 6)

The effluent spirit (out-flowing spirit) forsook Jesus when he exclaimed upon the cross, "My AIL (EL), my AIL (EL), why hast Thou forsaken me?" The effluent power by which he had taught and worked was withdrawn from him for some time before he died. The Spirit no longer rested upon the Cherub, yet that Cherub continued to live as other men. In process of time he expired.(Phanerosis)

Dr Thomas in
Phanerosis is saying that the out-flowing anointing spirit was taken away from Jesus when he cried out upon the cross, "My God, my God, why hast Thou forsaken me?"

The out-flowing power by which he had taught and worked was withdrawn from him for some time before he died. The Spirit no longer rested upon Jesus, yet Jesus continued to live as other men. In process of time he expired.

By Cherub Dr Thomas understands this as a vehicle for the spirit to ride

not that the spirit became separate from him but was withdrawn in order that death might also operate on him, since how did the body die when life was present in it?  (Theodotus 61:6)

Jesus did not become the Christ until His baptism. Jesus, up until his baptism, was simply the body that God had prepared for the Christ to indwell. The Spirit descended upon Jesus at his baptism in the Jordan, and took possession of Him. This was the anointing which constituted him as the Christ, and which gave Him the superhuman powers which He demonstrated during His ministry.

The definition of Original Sin according to modern Medical Science see Romans 5:12,19

The definition of Original Sin according to modern Medical Science see Romans 5:12,19

Romans 7:20, KJV: Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me. Romans 7:20, NASB: But if I do the very thing I do not want, I am no longer the one doing it, but sin that dwells in me.

Cellular aging
Your cells are programmed to divide, multiply, and perform basic biological functions. But the more cells divide, the older they get. In turn, cells eventually lose their ability to function properly. Cellular damage also increases as cells get older
However, death is a biochemical reaction, and every plant has to die one day. Plants die naturally because of a series of events that lead the cells of the plants to deteriorate. With age, the replacement of cells and tissues becomes very slow.
After the fall the Deiry charged the physical makeup of Adam and Eve the cells of their body would now multiply and divide and lose their function over time thus causing old age.

Man in his physical constitution is imperfect; and this imperfection is traceable to the physical organization of his flesh, being based on the principle of decay and reproduction from the blood; which, acted upon by the air, becomes the life of his flesh. All the phenomena which pertain to this arrangement of things are summed up in the simple word sin; which is, therefore, not an individual abstraction, but a concretion of relations in all animal bodies; and the source of all their physical infirmities. Now, the apostle says, that the flesh thinks, that is, the brain, as all who think are well assured from their own consciousness. If, then, this thinking organ be commanded not to do what is natural for it to do under blind impulse, will it not naturally disobey?  (Elpis Israel)
Even plants and animals are corruptible they grow old and die
Also cells can malfunction from the very start this is why women have miscarriages are children died of infant mortality and why people get diseases and stuff that kill them off before they grow old
Thus cellular aging cellular damage is a scientific way of explaining admaic condemnation or sin in the flesh
Yet has Dr Thomas says according to the animals and plants it cannot be called sin since they have not transgressed elpis Israel Chapter 4
The nature of the lower animals is as full of this physical evil principle as the nature of man; though it cannot be styled sin with the same expressiveness; because it does not possess them as the result of their own transgression; the name, however, does not alter the nature of the thing. (Elpis Israel)
Yes, it cannot be sin in the flesh because it for animals and plants to be in the ‘dying’ state is not defiling in God’s sight
But for man, it is, because they are in the physical similitude as the Father
That Adam broke this law, and was adjudged unworthy of immortality, and sentenced to return to the ground from whence he was taken-a sentence which defiled and became a physical law of his being, and was transmitted to all his posterity.
Sinful flesh being the hereditary nature of the Lord Jesus, he was a fit and proper sacrifice for sin; especially as he was himself "innocent of the great transgression", having been obedient in all things. Appearing in the nature of the seed of Abraham (Heb. 2:16-18), he was subject to all the emotions by which we are troubled; so that he was enabled to sympathize with our infirmities (Heb. 4:15), being "made in all things like unto his brethren". But, when he was "born of the Spirit", in the quickening of his mortal body by the spirit (Rom. 8:11), he became a spirit; for "that which is born of the spirit is spirit". Hence, he is "the Lord the Spirit", incorruptible flesh and bones.
Sin in the flesh is hereditary; and entailed upon mankind as the consequence of Adam's violation of the Eden law. The "original sin" was such as I have shown in previous pages. Adam and Eve committed it; and their posterity are suffering the consequence of it. The tribe of Levi paid tithes to Melchisedec many years before Levi was born. The apostle says, "Levi, who receiveth tithes, paid tithes in Abraham". Upon the same federal principle, all mankind ate of the forbidden fruit, being in the loins of Adam when he transgressed. This is the only way men can by any possibility be guilty of the original sin. Because they sinned in Adam, therefore they return to the dust from which Adam came -- says the apostle, "in whom all sinned". [This marginal reading of the A.V. cannot be sustained. The Revised Version has struck it out.] There is much foolishness spoken and written about "original sin". Infants are made the subjects of a religious ceremony to regenerate them because of original sin; on account of which, acoording to Geneva philosophy they are liable to the flames of hell for ever! If original sin, which is in fact sin in the flesh, were neutralized, then all "baptismally regenerated" babes ought to live for ever, as Adam would have done had he eaten of the Tree of Life after he had sinned. But they die; which is a proof that the "regeneration" does not "cure their souls"; and is, therefore, mere theological quackery.
We reject the doctrine - that Christ was born with a "free life."
We reject the doctrine - that Christ's nature was immaculate.
We reject the doctrine - that there is no sin in the flesh

Mary Magdalene the Companion of the Lord The Gospel of Philip

The Gospel of Philip:

Wisdom, who is called barren, is the mother of the angels.
The companion of the [saviour] is Mary of Magdala. The [saviour loved] her more than [all] the disciples, [and he] kissed her often on her [mouth].
The other [disciples] [64]…said to him, “Why do you love her more than all of us?”
The saviour answered and said to them, “Why do I not love you like her? If a blind person and one who can see are both in darkness, they are the same. When the light comes, one who can see will see the light, and the blind person will stay in darkness.”

In their traditional manner to kiss one upon the lips means " to compliment, give credit to, to favour

There was no word for "kiss" in Aramaic it's just like saying "your pulling my leg" there are those that speak of his blood line and want to link themselves to him, for that reason he took his body so that they could not match the DNA of the physical body that he was in to the elite rulers of this world.

Three Women Named Mary

Three women always walked with the master: Mary his mother, his sister, and Mary of Magdala, who is called his companion. For “Mary” is the name of his sister, his mother, and his companion.

In this passage many have misunderstood it's meaning, they take and run with it without checking other text that speaks of the same thing.

Companion:......... one that accompanies another
In a group, there are companions being both male or female, these assist in helping the group to understand what the master of the group is saying.
In the book of "Thunder the Perfect Mind" Sophia speaks of herself being " the Mother, sister and companion, this is what Christ meant by saying that Mary was his companion here on this world,

Christ was referring to the power of the Sophia that was on the inside of Mary his mother, sister and also in Mary Magdalene, it was the power of the Sophia that is his companion, but most who have not eaten the full loaf, never can tell or explain what the entire loaf taste like, they only taste a piece and do not know the fullness of it's flavor.

The Sophia is called the barren one, she has perfect virginity, and many sons also, and we are virgins as well.

I am the members of my mother
and the barren one with many son

To accompany some one you must know that one, and as I have said on many occasions accompany me as I accompany Christ, in this way we are his companions, this is what was meant by Mary was Christ companion, she accompanied Christ more and closer than his other disciples she understood the mysteries he spoke of on a higher level than they, and he often complimented her, this is what it means to " kiss upon the lips " he simply congratulated her for understanding him more that his disciples did.
Ex 18:7 At once Moses went on out to meet his father-in-law, and he proceeded to prostrate himself and to kiss him; and they each one began asking how the other was getting along. After that they went into the tent.
Samuel kissed Saul when anointing him as Israel’s first king.—1Sa 10:1
Rom 16:16 Greet one another with a holy kiss. All the congregations of the Christ greet YOU
The “Holy Kiss.” Among early Christians there was the “holy kiss” (Ro 16:16; 1Co 16:20; 2Co 13:12; 1Th 5:26) or “kiss of love” (1Pe 5:14). This early Christian form of greeting may correspond to the ancient Hebrew practice of greeting one with a kiss. The “holy kiss” or “kiss of love” evidently reflected the wholesome love and unity widespread in the Christian congregation.—Joh 13:34, 35.
Figurative Use. Kissing, as representing a demonstration of respect and devotion, is mentioned in the inspired advice to “serve Jehovah with fear” and “kiss the son, that you may not perish from the way.” (Ps 2:11, 12) Persons responding favourably and submitting to the Messiah God's appointed as King and his Kingdom will realize great blessings when it can be said: “Righteousness and peace—they have kissed each other,” because the connection of the two will be as evident to all as is the close association of affectionate friends.—Ps 85:10.

How to Read the Bible from a Gnostic Point of View

How to Read the Bible from a Gnostic Point of View

Day 1

Gnostic Teacher says

Tomorrow I shall Teach you How to Read!

Day 2

Gnostic Teacher says

To read is to Understand.
To Understand is to Comprehend.
To Comprehend is to Know!
To Know is Gnosis!

Day 3

Gnostic Teacher says

Reading:
Get the Basics first.

Here I will use several text and show you how to read the ancient text, in this way you will obtain a greater understanding of what is truly written, The Gnosis= hidden knowledge.

John 3:3 ►New Living Translation
Jesus replied, "I tell you the truth, unless you are born again, you cannot see the Kingdom of God."

See= discern= apprehend= Antonym/misunderstand= Antonym/understand.

So using the antonym of misunderstand meaning to understand, Christ was really saying, unless you are born again you would not be able to understand the kingdom of God, and to understand the kingdom of god, is to know it's mysteries, and the opperations= the way it works.

Seen
Day 4

Gnostic Teacher says

Take a moment and look at the word "Seen"

John 6:46 ► Berean Study Bible

not that anyone has seen the Father except the One who is from God; only He has seen the Father.

"Seen"
to have personal knowledge of; experience; witness: to learn; discover.
to comprehend; understand, to perceive the true meaning, character, or nature of.

Now we see that the word "seen" means to "understand" and by keeping this in mind, now let's read this text again.

Christ meant that, he was not saying that "no" one don't understand, have personal knowledge of, or don't know his true nature,
He continued to say that those that come from him, will know him in that capacity.

And again we see the Saviour in his compassion had mercy and assured them of the type of relationship a Father has with his children, with holding nothing from them but shows to them his expressed self in an Eternal, Infinite, ineffable way.
Logos and Sophia
Day 5

Gnostic Teacher says

Again Christ is the "WORD" once you know and understand him, then you will truly know The Father!

Genesis 1:1 ► GOD'S WORD® Translation
In the beginning God created heaven and earth.

In this text you were taught that the word "In" meant a starting point, well let's see.

"In" Defined= Also used as a function word to indicate "Location", Location= Noun, Place!
So in Genesis it's actually saying that there is and was a place where the heavens and the earth was made.

Take a look at what Sophia/Wisdom was saying in the book of Proverbs.

Proverbs 8:30 ► Aramaic Bible in Plain English
I was fashioning with him; he was rejoicing in me everyday, and I have been rejoicing before him always.

What Sophia/Wisdom was saying was pointing to the fact that she was in a place with God, and in this place she was creating with him.

"With" Defined= preposition/ used to say that people or things are together in one place.

John 1:1 ►Aramaic Bible in Plain English
In the origin The Word had been existing and That Word had been existing with God and That Word was himself God.

John 1:2 ► GOD'S WORD® Translation
He was already with God in the beginning.

John 1:3 ►GOD'S WORD® Translation
Everything came into existence through him. Not one thing that exists was made without him.

The gender of the noun wisdom is a feminine and the word is a masculine noun this teaches us that the Christ the anointing spirit is a syzygies consisting of Sophia and Logos

So if you use the method of defining words, and look up its," antonyms and synonyms" it will open up to a new understanding of basic knowledge of scripture, and from this Gnosis will be revealed to you.
Is Gnosis a Prefix or a Suffix?
Day 6

Gnostic Teacher says

For some people Gnosis is a word, and all their life they try to explain it.

For others, its like a seasoning, they believe that if they sprinkle it over any words or sayings, these words and sayings will taste good to those that eat those words and sayings.

And there are the few that think that Gnosis is a Prefix or a Suffix, they secretly place it in the front and end of meaningless sayings to which they themselves have no understanding of.

As for me I know Gnosis, It is the Source of which the Christ preceded from, the understanding of the Pentad, and the essences of the Decad.

Gnosis is the life and power of the Autogenes, the very root of my Being,
in a word, I am it's offspring!

Translation and Interpretation
Day 7

Gnostic Teacher says

My good brothers and to my friend, do not trouble yourselves with he that Translates the ancient text / and Scriptures.

It is not given to he that translate but rather to him that interprets, for even the disciples of the Messiah, though they walked, talked and wrote the sayings of the Messiah, did not truly interpret what he was saying.

As I spoke with you before hand concerning " words " I say to you again, understand words and their true meanings, and be not afraid to ask the Holy One for knowledge and understanding, was he not before all things and all things came into existence by him and because of him?

Then feel free to question him and he will freely expound to the hidden mysteries of the kingdom of light as well as the mysteries of ineffableness.

I give to you this these two things,

1) Translations are as great fruit trees that are ready for harvest, though it's fruit weighs it's limbs down because of it's fruit laden with sweet juices, insects and fowls of the air are attracted to the fragrance of the fruit tree.

Insects, they bore holes in the fruit, insert their larvae and if the pickers of this fruit picks and ingest this fruit his innermost being can become sickened and he being devoured by the larvae become the larvae, for this one did not look carefully into this fruit before consuming it.

2) The Fowls: the fowls of the air senses the hour of the ripeness of the fruit, they then make their nest among the limbs of the tree, and before the time of harvest they Peck at the stem of the fruits causing the fruit to be deprived of nourishment and the unwise picker, picks and eats and because the fruit has not been fully nourished his stomach becomes embittered and he regurgitates the fruit and he having gained nothing, but also regurgitated the previous meal he had eaten.

So my brothers and my friend always seek to interpret what has been translated, look well to the condition of the fruit if it seem well ripened then divide it into portions looking for the worms, then if it is good for eating then eat, if not then discard.

I tell you of this truth, it will be better for you if you had not eaten, than for you to become sicken by bitter fruit, even more, being devoured by it's worms.

We Are Genetically related to GOD 2 Peter 1:4

We Are Genetically related to GOD 2 Peter 1:4

Believers who are born again become “genetically” related to GOD as sons and daughters. They are not just “adopted,” but true members of God’s family by rebirth in contact with the word or Gospel of the Kingdom:

John 1.12 "As many, however, as did accept him, to these he gave the right to become children of God — namely the ones believing in his Gospel revelation."

the genetic connection is explains by believers been sharers of divine nature we become consubstantial with the Father see Jn 17:19-23 NKJ 2Pet 1:4 2 Thessalonians 2:14 Ephesians 3:1

they will be spirit, because "that which is born of the spirit is spirit." He, the Spirit, the EL, or Power of the universe, self-styled YAHWEH, is their Divine Father. His nature will be theirs; so that they will be consubstantial with Him, as all children are consubstantial with their parents. The Deity will then be manifested in the Sons of Deity; He in them, and they in Him, by the one spirit. And this company of sons, led to glory by the captain of their salvation, is "the ONE who shall be," or "the ONE YAHWEH."

Col 2:9 For in him dwells all the fullness of the Godhead bodily.

All the fullness of the Godhead dwells in Jesus bodily and it will also dwell within us has well:

Eph 3:19 and to know the love of the Christ which surpasses knowledge, that YOU may be filled with all the fullness of the Deity.

We like Jesus are to be filled with God fullness

2Peter 1:4 Through these things he has freely given us the precious and very grand promises, that through these YOU may become sharers in divine nature, having escaped from the corruption that is in the world through lust.

we will share God's divine nature

2Th 2:14 He called you to this through the good news we declare, so that you may acquire the glory of our Lord Jesus Christ.

We shall share Jesus' glory

John 17:20 “I do not pray for these alone, but also for those who will[a] believe in Me through their word;
21 that they all may be one, as You, Father, are in Me, and I in You; that they also may be one in Us, that the world may believe that You sent Me.
22 And the glory which You gave Me I have given them, that they may be one just as We are one:
23 I in them, and You in Me; that they may be made perfect in one, and that the world may know that You have sent Me, and have loved them as You have loved Me.

In John 17 we are told that we are to be made perfect in one Christ in us and the Father in Christ
in the Age to come we shall be one with God by sharing his divine nature and being filled with his fullness.

So within the Godhead there is the Father, the son and the church. There are not 3 Gods in the Godhead; nor are there but 3 in manifestation; nevertheless, the Father is God and Jesus is God; and we may add, so are all the brethren of Jesus gods and "a multitude which no man can number." They are a manifold unit - One in many, and many in one. The Supreme Power, or Deity, is the source, fountain, or sole spring of Power. The Godhead is the fountain of the Deity; these other gods are the many streams which form this fountain flow. The springhead of Deity is one, not many; the streams are as numerous as the stars of the universe, in which a manifestation of Deity has a occurred.

Another way to look at this is to see The Godhead as the house of the Deity; these other gods or elohim are the many Members which form the house or family unit.

House does not always mean a building but it can mean the family

be quiet before you wake the whole house

So the Godhead is the family of the Deity made up of God being both Father-Mother than the son and the wife of the son the Church.

This is the multitudinous manifestation of the one Deity - one in many, and many in one, by His spirit. It is not "One God in three Gods," and "Three Gods in One;" but one Deity in a countless multitude revealed in the memorial name, and give an account of in the mystery of godliness.

The Father the son and the church God's family

2Cor 6:14 Be ye not unequally yoked together with unbelievers: for what fellowship hath righteousness with unrighteousness? and what communion hath light with darkness?

2Cor 13:14 The grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Ghost, be with you all. Amen. «

"And still others of them who suffer think that they will perfect the wisdom of the brotherhood which really exists, which is the spiritual fellowship of those united in communion, through which the wedding of incorruptibility shall be revealed. (The Apocalypse of Peter)

In the verse quoted above the word communion means fellowship not the Eucharist

2842. κοινωνία koinonia [koy-nohn-ee’-ah]; from 2844; partnership, i.e. (literally) participation, or (social) intercourse, or (pecuniary) benefaction: — (to) communicate(-ation), communion, (contri-)distribution, fellowship.

communion--Sharing the deep aspirations of our heart with the indwelling Father and hearing His "still small voice" (I Kings 19:12).

The Communion of Saints is the faith in a mystical bond uniting both the living and the dead in a confirmed hope and love

The communion of saints is the spiritual union of the members of the Christian Church, living and the dead. They are all part of a single "mystical body of Christ", with Jesus as the head.
What Is Fellowship?
The word comes from the idea of having a share as community in God’s gifts, from koinonia, a participation in. We share in God’s gift of grace (Phil.1:7); the gospel (1 Cor.9:23); the promise (Eph.3:6); the glory that shall be revealed (1 Peter 5:1); the Holy Spirit (2 Cor.13:14); the Divine nature (2 Pet.1:4); the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ (Heb.3:14), and the body and blood of Christ (1 Cor.10:16)

Eph 3:9 And to make all men see what is the fellowship of the mystery, which from the beginning of the world hath been hid in God, who created all things on account of Jesus Christ:

1Cor 1:9 God is faithful, by whom ye were called unto the fellowship of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord.

1Jo 1:7 But if we walk in the light, as he is in the light, we have fellowship one with another, and the blood of Jesus Christ his Son cleanseth us from all sin.

How? - Where? - When?
Jesus said to the Samaritan woman: “Woman believe me, the hour cometh, when ye shall neither in this mountain, nor yet at Jerusalem, worship the Father ... but the hour cometh, and now is, when the TRUE WORSHIPPERS shall worship the Father in SPIRIT and in TRUTH: For the Father seeketh such to worship him” (John 4:21-23).

HOW? “In spirit and in truth.” Not by the self-imposed form of worship and false humility. See Colossians 2:21-23.

Jesus testified: “... for where two or three are gathered together IN MY NAME [in spirit], there am I in the midst of them” (Matthew 18:19-20).

WHERE? No particular place, but anywhere “two or more are gathered together in his name.”

Paul, in referring to the last supper (1 Corinthians 11:23-28) states in part:
“For as often as you eat this bread and drink this cup, you proclaim the Lord’s death until he comes” (V. 26).

WHEN? “As often” (whenever: no specified time, but any and all times) just as long as it is done “in spirit and in truth.”

23 Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful. 24 And let us consider one another in order to stir up love and good works, 25 not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together, as is the manner of some, but exhorting one another, and so much the more as you see the Day approaching. (Hebrews 10:23-25).

The statement: “Not forsaking the assembling of ourselves together” is not a law, but an appeal. However, if we consider it as a command, this command is fully set by a brother performing in accordance with the preceding quotations.

Nowhere in the scriptures can be found where the Lord has granted the privilege, much less the right, to any man or group of men, to dictate to another brother how, where, or when he shall worship and commune with another brother, since it is a performance between them and their heavenly Father.

It is written “that no man is justified by THE LAW [much less a man-made law] in the sight of God ... for the just shall live by FAITH” (Galatians 3:11). “Do we then overthrow the law by this faith? By no means! On the contrary, we uphold the law.(Romans 3:31).
The Fellowship of the Spirit
Php 2:1 If there be therefore any consolation in Christ, if any comfort of love, if any fellowship of the Spirit, if any bowels and mercies,

The fellowship of the spirit or with the spirit is a personal relationship with God is through the in dwelling of Christ in the believer

Colossians 1:27 To them God has chosen to make known among the Gentiles the glorious riches of this mystery, which is Christ in you, the hope of glory.

Our relationship with God is through the Lord Jesus Christ. We are united with God and with what God is doing in one body--the body of Christ, the church. Paul tells us in I Corinthians 12:13 that we are all baptized into one body by one Spirit. We are brought to the place of oneness, and now it is our responsibility in this love affair with God to express that oneness. To express the oneness of God means that we must enter into fellowship with the Lord Jesus Christ and the Father. This oneness is the proof that what God has done in Jesus Christ is eternal salvation. God said that He has made us one in Christ; now through spiritual fellowship we are brought to a place of expressing this oneness, as a testimony of the abiding presence of the Lord Jesus Christ. (Duncan Heaster)

All who accept of our Lord Jesus' one offering for all time are counted as sanctified and in consequence they have fellowship or communion with God. (Duncan Heaster)

"We are justified by faith." And "being justified by faith, we have peace with God" (Rom. 5:1), and are no longer esteemed by God as enemies, but as justified human sons,

This counted justification we realize through faith in God's Word, which says, Ye are "bought," "redeemed," "justified freely from all things." We stand in God's sight blameless, spotless and holy in the robes of Christ's righteousness imputed to us by faith. (Duncan Heaster)

Our sins he consented to have imputed to him, that he might bear our penalty for us; and he died on our behalf, as though he were the sinner. His righteousness is consequently imputed to all who accept of his redemption. It restores us to life and to fellowship with God. This fellowship we may have at once by the exercise of faith, and the eternal life of sharing the Divine nature are assured--in God's "due time." (Duncan Heaster)

The natural man cannot possibly understand the love of Christ, but the Spirit " in the inner man" can fully comprehend it (Eph. 3:16-19). This failure of the natural man to understand the things of the spirit is the basic reason for all division between genuine brethren. Time and again we are reminded of the fact that our fellowship with each other is due to the fact that we both have the spiritual man inside us (Eph. 2:18; 4:3,4; Phil. 1:27;2:1). (Duncan Heaster)

Whosoever believeth that Jesus is the Christ is born of God" (1 Jn. 5:1). Our spiritual man is what is born of God. All true believers are here spoken of as if they are their spiritual man. All true believers in Christ therefore have a spiritual man within them, which we must seek out, even imagine at times, and with which we should fellowship (Duncan Heaster)

Our spiritual man is not limited by the bonds of space. Thus Paul was bodily absent from Corinth, " but present in spirit" (1 Cor. 5:3), i.e. his spiritual man was present with them. It was the same with Colosse: " I be absent in the flesh, yet am I with you in the spirit" (Col. 2:5). When our spiritual man groans, Christ groans too in Heaven, an infinite distance away (Rom. 8:23 cp. 26). There is no time barrier, either. Thus our spiritual man is in close fellowship with " the spirits of just men made perfect" , having died many years ago (Heb. 12:23). This is the glorious unity of the Spirit; we are not just connected with all living saints, wherever they may be, but with the spiritual characters of all true saints throughout history.

Adam the First Devil or Serpent John 8:44

Adam the First Devil

According to the Bible: All evil proceeds from the heart of MAN: the devil,
the liar, etc. Here is the ROOT of sin for which Christ died, a first principle, a FUNDAMENTAL.

Moses wrote the Book of Genesis. Now, “Yahweh made known his ways unto Moses” (Psalm 103:7). And, “Yahweh spoke mouth to mouth with Moses, his servant and not by vision nor dream” (Numbers 12:6-8). Surely Moses, with a full knowledge of God’s way, understood that a serpent symbolized MAN.

Therefore, Moses used a cunning (crafty) serpent to symbolize the first Adam, who brought DEATH to the world. And when Moses placed a brazen (refined by fire) serpent on a pole, he was AGAIN using a serpent to signify a man (John 3:14-15) but this time to indicate the last Adam (1 Corinthians 15:45,47) who brought LIFE to the world by overcoming the work of the first Adam.

THE TEMPTER: “Every man is tempted when he is drawn away of HIS OWN lust and enticed. Then when lust hath conceived, it brings forth sin, and sin when it is finished, brings forth death” (James 1:14-15). James’ “Every Man” had to include the man Adam, so, was it not Adam’s OWN lust which tempted him?

THE FIRST DEVIL: “... the devil sinneth FROM THE BEGINNING” (1 John 3:8). “By one MAN sin entered the world and death by sin” (Romans 5:12).
Again:
“By one MAN’s offense death reigned by one” (Romans 5:17-19). However, “Sin is not imputed where there is no law” (Romans 5:13). “For where no law is, there is no transgression” (Romans 4:15). So it is written: “Sin is the transgression of law” (1 John 3:4). The devil must have had a law to transgress in order to sin.

The ONLY creature in the beginning, to whom a law was given, was Adam, the one MAN who brought sin and death into the world. Could a literal serpent, having no law, transgress? Therefore, was not Adam that FIRST devil?

THE FIRST LIAR: Jesus said that the devil was the original liar (John 8:44).
Since Adam, as shown above, was that devil, then was not Adam the FIRST liar? Jesus also said that those things which proceed out of the mouth come forth out of the heart (Matthew 15:18). “For out of the heart proceeds evil thoughts” (Matthew 15:19). When such thoughts are spoken, they are signified by the spirit as the poison of a serpent (Psalm 140:1-3; Romans 3:12-13). “The tongue can no man tame, it is an unruly evil, full of deadly poison” (James 3:8).

Thus a MAN, who is a devil, satan, liar, is called a serpent. Both Jesus and John the Baptist used this designation - “O generation of VIPERS!” and applied it to the unbelieving Jews (Matthew 3:7, 12:34, 23:33; Luke 3:7 and John 8:44) whom Jesus said were ‘the children’ of the original devil. Was not Adam the forefather of these Jews? Since Adam was that devil, and that liar who deceived Eve - Eve was deceived, Adam was Not (1 Timothy 2:14) - with words that proved to be as fatal as the venom of a serpent, was it not appropriate for Moses to call Adam a serpent? The angel in revealing things to John on Patmos, identified the serpent as the devil and satan (Revelation 12:9, 20:2) and since Adam was the original devil, satan, liar, was he not the original serpent?

GOD’S WAY: “God will do nothing but he revealeth his secret unto his servants the prophets” (Amos 3:7). Nowhere do we find where God had revealed to Moses, or to any of his prophets, that he created a literal serpent for lying to Eve. Also, when God uses an agent to accomplish something, invariably he names the agent and states the agent’s purpose. Here again, God says nothing about appointing a literal serpent to tempt Eve through deception - God tempts no man (James 1:13) - neither would he create a creature for the sole purpose of tempting. Could any brother believe otherwise?

God did provide a tree, of which he prohibited Adam to eat, under penalty of death. He then turned the garden over to Adam and Eve and left them alone to prove (test) them, that they might demonstrate what was in their hearts, whether they would keep his commandments or no. In the same manner he proved Israel (Deuteronomy 3:2). God also provided a tree of life, thus indicating that life and death depended upon Adam’s response.

Adam in the role of Serpent 1 John 3:8

Adam in the Role of Serpent

[The one] created was [noble, and you would] expect his children to be [61] noble. If he had not been created but rather had been conceived, you would expect his offspring to be noble. But in fact he was created, and then he produced offspring.
And what nobility this is! First came adultery, then murder. One was born of adultery, for he was the son of the serpent. He became a murderer, like his father, and he killed his brother. Every act of sexual intercourse between those unlike each other is adultery. The Gospel of Philip
the serpent was a MAN and that THAT MAN was Adam. the one MAN responsible for sin and death (Romans 5:12).

The serpent being symbolic cannot make the man and woman symbolic because Adam and Eve were real creatures as reported in the family line of Jesus, where it is shown that: “ADAM WAS THE SON OF GOD” (Luke 3:38).

A further examination of the record reports the following:

Jesus speaking to the Jews: “Why do ye not understand my speech? even because ye cannot hear my word ... YOUR FATHER THE DEVIL ... he was a MURDERER from the BEGINNING and does not stand IN THE TRUTH, because there is no truth in him ... he is a LIAR and the FATHER of it. And because I tell you the truth, ye believe me not” (John 8:43, 44, 45).

Now, Adam was the only creature to whom a command was given that required obedience (Genesis 2:16-17). Adam openly disregard the command of Yahweh through disbelief and disobedience, thereby becoming THE DEVIL (adversary of God) in the beginning. “As by one MAN sin entered the world and DEATH by sin” (Romans 5:12). So Adam became a MURDERER FROM THE BEGINNING. “For in Adam ALL DIE” (1 Corinthians 15:22).

Adam lived in the environment of the tree of life (Genesis 2:9, 15) but he was not allowed to remain therein (Genesis 3:22-23) because “ he does not stand in the truth.” Since the truth was not presented to any other living creature, Christ’s testimony can only apply to Adam.

John tells us that: “He that committeth sin is of the devil; for THE DEVIL sinneth FROM THE BEGINNING” (1 John 3:8) and, “Cain was of THAT WICKED ONE” (1 John 3:12). The WICKED ONE, the devil that sinned and was a MURDERER FROM THE BEGINNING, can apply only to Adam, because he was the only one prior to Cain. Cain was the exact image of his father Adam: a murderer and a liar.

Jesus testifies that THE FATHER of these Jews was THE FATHER OF THE LIE. The Genesis record shows that the serpent was the FIRST LIAR. This indicates that THE FATHER OF THE LIE and THE SERPENT are one and the same. And since the SEED to whom Jesus was talking were MEN, then THEIR FATHER THE DEVIL was a MAN. This man was Adam who enacted the part of a serpent. Adam is the only creature in the beginning to whom the accusations made by Jesus (John 8:44) can fully apply.

The key to God’s use of a SERPENT to SYMBOLIZE ADAM’S DECEIT is disclosed in the following:

“The Lord sent fiery serpents among the people and they BIT the people; and much people of Israel died” (Numbers 21:6). Here God discloses that DEATH is in the MOUTH of the Serpent.“Deliver me, O Lord, from the evil MAN ... which imagine mischief in their hearts. They have sharpened their TONGUES like a SERPENT: ADDERS poison is under their LIPS” (Psalm 140:1, 3).

“They are all gone out of the way ... with their TONGUES they have used DECEIT: the poison of ASPS [serpents] is under their LIPS” (Romans 3:12-13).

“The TONGUE can no man time, it is an unruly evil, FULL OF DEADLY POISON” (James 3:8).

“Ye offspring of VIPERS [serpents] how can ye, being evil, speak good things? for out of the abundance of the heart the MOUTH speaketh” (Matthew 12:34).

Here God defines evil speaking proceeding out of the MOUTH of MAN, emanating from his imagination, as the deadly poison of a SERPENT. The perverse conversation (as recorded in Genesis 3:1, 5) belongs to the category of the above statements, and Adam was the only creature (MAN), IN THE BEGINNING - The father of “Cain who was OF that WICKED ONE” - to whom these statements could apply.
TWO SEEDS
The record of Genesis reports that TWO seeds (lineages) originated in the garden of Eden: the seed of the serpent (the natural seed) and the seed of the woman (the spiritual seed).

No mention of the seed of the MAN. Why? Because the seed of the serpent is Adam’s seed.

A careful examination of the record shows that Adam and Eve were given a hearing and allowed to testify in their own behalf.

The serpent was NOT granted this privilege but was condemned without a hearing. Why? Because Adam was the serpent of this narrative and had already had his hearing and given his testimony.
