Gospel of Thomas Saying 10 Jesus said, "I have cast fire upon the world, and see, I am watching over it until it blazes."
In saying 16 Jesus does not bring peace upon the world but fire war and the sword so in saying 10 Jesus is speaking about the trouble in his day and that of 70 CE and also in our own time
In Saying 82 fire and the kingdom are equivalent terms just as Jesus is equivalent with the Kingdom so here when he throws fire upon the world we should understand that he has come to reveal the knowledge of the Kingdom upon the world.
This is a refiner’s fire, to refine the heart of men for the day of judgement. The knowledge that makes us responsible to the truth comes by faith and faith by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Thus it can make us wise unto salvation by faith in Christ Jesus, for the word of God is beneficial for teaching, for reproving for correction, for disciplining in righteousness. This is the fire of the knowledge of the kingdom of God that saves us 1Cor 3:13-15 for our faith is tried with fire 1pe 1:7vso the forgiveness of sins is to purify the sins of the world with fire.
The fire is also the fire of judgment
Therefore, after we are refined we shall be made like fire just like Jesus is now for Yahweh makes his ministers a flame of fire (God manifestation). (Cp. Saying 82) So by listening to Jesus’ words and abide by them we will overcome our passions. Cp. Saying 7, 8, 9
10)# Jesus said, "I have cast fire upon the world [by showing us the Way, the Truth and the Life which is the fire that sears our individual spirit consciousness (soul) when we are doing anything that we know to be in opposition to the will of the Father - this fire is our inward trial and judgment], and see, I am guarding it until it blazes [for it will either refine (the Elect) or burn up (as chaff) the faithless]."
(Luke 12:49) I have come to ignite a fire on the earth, and how I wish it were already kindled! <3 Oh man... the chrism is the oil and the Holy Spirit is the fire that burn the oil and lights the flame and this light in Christ with Jesus goes before you the way. Christ in you through Jesus is the Father. The Holy Spirit is Wisdom our Mother united with Christ who is our Father and we are the children. Soul is sleeping and is called now to ask the Lord Jesus to awaken and many who imagine they're awake proclaiming they have gnosis have yet to convert and go through the narrow way leading to life and believe me it is narrow for its the way we learn how to overcome the world . Only those who ask Jesus himself face to face will convert into a little child within born of water and the spirit for flesh and blood are nothing more than part of this vessel we're in and we're called to come out of while we remain within - before death. TRUTH in simply form - the little one is you inside and Jesus loves the child in you who has no ego in him who asks & seeks to find. If you don't know your beginning with the Lord you'll be stuck. If I were not Mary then I wouldn't not say yet I am her... and I told him I didn't want to do this and he told me I was born to do this, and here I am ... What else am I to do, he's here - and you all have to ask him yourself, on purpose & when you know the truth and you'll know & you're good people and all you need to do is direct your thoughts to Jesus... and ask him yourself. If you're an 80 - 20 asking... 20% will remain in darkness and only those who Ask 100% will enter into the light called the narrow way.
ReplyDeleteAs Christ's alone we are not from MARS. Martyrs Activist Robinhoods or Supermen. We are Christ's alone and we walk the law of the land in peace and love and we do not harm any, not even ourselves as we continue in service here in the world. Ask him yourself - and continue in study and eat the word with him like meat and know all his promises are true, he will never leave or forsake his own.
