The Parable of The Receiver and The Giver Matthew 21:28-32

The Parable of The Receiver and The Giver

A wise man said to his student
“There were two people. One of them were walking along a road to discover a bag of money had fallen from the sky. They said “I will keep it for myself. For this is a gift from God.” The other person walked along another road to discover a bag of money that had fallen from the sky. They said “I will give this to the poor and needy. I will use this to serve God.” Which do you think will enter the kingdom of heaven?”
The student said, “The second one.”
“You have answered correctly. For the one who serves humanity and God will enter the kingdom, but those who serve themselves and think material gain is the gift from God shall not receive the true gift.”

Matthew 21:28-32 The Message (MSG)

The Story of Two Sons
28 “Tell me what you think of this story: A man had two sons. He went up to the first and said, ‘Son, go out for the day and work in the vineyard.’

29 “The son answered, ‘I don’t want to.’ Later on he thought better of it and went.

30 “The father gave the same command to the second son. He answered, ‘Sure, glad to.’ But he never went.

31-32 “Which of the two sons did what the father asked?”

They said, “The first.”

Jesus said, “Yes, and I tell you that crooks and whores are going to precede you into God’s kingdom. John came to you showing you the right road. You turned up your noses at him, but the crooks and whores believed him. Even when you saw their changed lives, you didn’t care enough to change and believe him. .

Spiritual Gifts and Realm Travel

Spiritual Gifts and Realm Travel

Greetings to you my brothers and sisters:

Let me remind you of these things: Spiritual Gifts and Realm Travel.

Different Realms
In the Kingdom of light there are many different realms, different in the sense that one is of an higher order, and each order has it's own unique form, but the same seeing that all are within the Father.

One must recognize his or her order of glory and once it is known to you, then one should walk in it.

We all reflect who the Saviour is and our own unique reflection is in him, so my brethren see, that is, know, the saviour is not to be known as a mere human but son of man, who in his true nature supersede the nature and forms of the aeons.

For even they could not comprehend the image to which they saw, but we have the nature and form which is superior to theirs as well, so it is with great joy to see that you have received the words of the Begotten One with great understanding.
Spiritual Gifts
We were taught as children that in order to operate in spiritual gifts, you must be saved and when you do it's only for a short while, because it is by the will of the holy spirit.

Brethren look at that statement again, " you must be saved " if you had a friend and some one came up to you both speaking French, and your friend began to speak french with that person, and once they and your friend have finished speaking to one another, you might say to your friend " you must be French " you speak French very well and fluently.

The same it is with spiritual gifts, like French some were born speaking French while others learned at a later time, do you get me brothers and sisters?

In the spiritual realm these abilities are common place, I have told you that when I went to the worlds of the rulers of this world, that resurrection, and raising one from the dead, was common place with them, that was because, It Is!!

No one truly teaches you any thing but only bring back to your remembrance that which you have long forgotten by coming to this world, for this I continue to say to you, " know yourselves " then you will become known, again most was born with those abilities as an inheritance while others will soon inherit them, so when you both the inheritors and those that inherited reach the spiritual realm living and doing things in the spiritual realms those abilities will be common practice with you all.

And as for that statement " you must be saved and born again " this means you were into being long before the rulers of this world came into existence, you appeared in this world in their physical forms which is the bodied you have now, and was born as a physical being is born, first born a spiritual being then born again

"As " a physical being, and when you operate in your spiritual gifts, you are using your natural spiritual abilities in a physical body in a physical realm or physical world, ruling over both the dead and alive.

Realm travel

Do not confuse realm travel with out of the body travel, one, out of the body travel leads to torment, or to the places of the rulers of this world, this you will know in a short period of time.

Realm travel one goes back to the region of their birth and remembers all things, then sees oneself alive in both places and live in both places physical and spiritual realm, no longer leaving either but ruling in both, the more you see yourselves in the regions of your births the more you travel, in both places, here in this physical world and in the spiritual, you will soon appear physically in other places in this world, first in your neighborhood, then other cities, then states, and afterwards countries, and you be known there as you are known in your home you will see how simple it is,

These are the beginning stages of gnosis, knowing the difference between the spiritual beings from the physical these things will come in time, faster for some none attainable for others, learn the mystery of " being filled " and " being emptied " and why it is better to be emptied!

Again stand before the face of the eternal Saviour, and for Eternity stand before his face, for in him you see your for the eternal beings that you are.

Only God knows Pistis Sophia Chapter 102

Only God knows Pistis Sophia Chapter 102

GOD'S WORD® Translation

I know a follower of Christ who was snatched away to the third heaven fourteen years ago. I don't know whether this happened to him physically or spiritually. Only God knows.

It was only till now I realized , that man was Me!

I was standing on the outside of me watching me, seeing what what I was soon to become.

I stepped out of that "hued man" and saw that I was a "SON of MAN"

Not one just made of "Soil but "ONE CREATED of SPIRIT and SOUL and MIND"

New American Standard Bible

But when God, who had set me apart even from my mother's womb and called me through His grace, was pleased

He spoke to me with pure "MIND", in perfect "THOUGHT" said unto me,

Jeremiah 1:5

"Before I formed you in the womb I knew you, before you were born I set you apart; I appointed you as a prophet to the nations."

NET Bible

2 Timothy 2:15

Make every effort to present yourself before God as a proven worker who does not need to be ashamed, teaching the message of truth accurately.

New International Version

Matthew 28:19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit,

Let them know that this is not a Baptism as the world teaches, but it is an Introduction into the knowledge of the truth, of who is the Father, they are the Sons, and the Life that is in them is given to them by the Holy Spirit!

And that they all are born of a Virgin Birth, their Spirit's are Eternal Virgins,

I have hidden the Virgin in a Mortal Body.

GOD'S WORD® Translation

Our bodies are made of clay, The treasure of the Good News "is" in them. This shows that the superior power of this treasure belongs to God and doesn't come from us,

1 Corinthians 2:5

so that your faith might not rest on human wisdom, but on God's power.

So I leave this with you my Brothers, and Sisters, that you may know your self and your root.

"JESUS continued again in the discourse and said unto his disciples: "When I shall have gone into the Light, then herald it unto the whole world and say unto them: Cease not to seek day and night and remit not yourselves until ye find the mysteries of the Light-kingdom, which will purify you and make you into refined light and lead you into the Light-kingdom.

"Say unto them: Renounce the whole world and the whole matter therein and all its care and all its sins, in a word all its associations which are in it, that ye may be worthy of the mysteries of the Light and be saved from all the chastisements which are in the judgments."

Pistis Sophia A THIRD BOOK CHAPTER 102

Pistis Sophia: The Gnostic Tradition of Mary Magdalene, Jesus, and His Disciples

These are the teachings that Christ taught his disciples privately, these teachings were translated as parables, but the correct translation is Mysteries, But not everyone possesses this knowledge.

be a Partaker of the "FULLNESS" of Christ 2 Peter 1:4

be a Partaker of the "FULLNESS" of Christ

2 Corinthians 9:10 ► New Living Translation

For God is the one who provides seed for the farmer and then bread to eat. In the same way, he will provide and increase your resources and then produce a great harvest of generosity in you.

This means God is the sower, the sower has all the seed you need.

he gives you the increase and the Harvest with the seed, all you do is accept it all!!!

Matthew 13:39 ►

English Standard Version

and the enemy who sowed them is the devil. The harvest is the end of the age, and the reapers are angels.

you see! you are not even a "REAPER" that's the enemy that told them to tell you that "Lie"

2 Peter 1:4 ►

Berean Study Bible

Through these He has given us His precious and magnificent promises, so that through them you may become partakers of the divine nature, now that you have escaped the corruption in the world caused by evil desires.

Hebrews 3:14 ►

New American Standard Bible

For we have become partakers of Christ, if we hold fast the beginning of our assurance firm until the end,

Your blessings shows that you are a "Partaker" now you must be a Partaker of the "FULLNESS" of Christ, the fullness of Christ = the "HARVEST" the seed is the word of God inside of you and when that seed is fully grown you become what the seed truly is, and you are ready to be harvested. You get it?............................

Once again the fruit of a tree is within the seed, this parable was saying like a seed, the human spirit was planted in this world, and like a seed the human spirit has it's full harvest at the time it is planted within itself.

The Decad is the Duality of the Pentad

The Decad is the Duality of the Pentad; large knowing and small knowing opposites of life & death / light & darkness.

Thought in this world.
Thought in the Christ.

Forethought in this world.
Forethought in the Christ.

Truth in this world.
Truth in the Christ.

Indestructibility in this world.
Indestructibility in the Christ.

Everlasting life in this world.
Everlasting life in the Christ.

Wisdom calls out at the gates, “The kingdom is within; her gates open; the light is on come now and enter in”.

As above so is below.

One is Big knowing and the other is little knowing.

One is the truth set you free, the other is the truth in the world that always changes directions.

We’re in the II coming, and we’re to enter the kingdom within and go the way. Once you’re within the kingdom this is where mind and heart are kept safe.

To enter in soul awakens and changes into a little child and learns how to left and right glide within the mind called the spirit as he enters the narrow way leading to life, comes out into the light of knowing the truth of who you are, where you came from and what’s going on.

Its a strange thing the II coming, so quiet in silence, Christ is taking this world by stealth.

Surah 3:49 and the Infancy Gospel of Thomas

Infancy Gospel of Thomas

2. This child Jesus, when five years old, was playing in the ford of a mountain stream; and He collected the flowing waters into pools, and made them clear immediately, and by a word alone He made them obey Him. And having made some soft clay, He fashioned out of it twelve sparrows. And it was the Sabbath when He did these things. And there were also many other children playing with Him. And a certain Jew, seeing what Jesus was doing, playing on the Sabbath, went off immediately, and said to his father Joseph: Behold, thy son is at the stream, and has taken clay, and made of it twelve birds, and has profaned the Sabbath. And Joseph, coming to the place and seeing, cried out to Him, saying: Wherefore doest thou on the Sabbath what it is not lawful to do? And Jesus clapped His hands, and cried out to the sparrows, and said to them: Off you go! And the sparrows flew, and went off crying. And the Jews seeing this were amazed, and went away and reported to their chief men what they had seen Jesus doing.

45. Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah.
46. "He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous."
47. She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: Allah createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, 'Be,' and it is!
48. "And Allah will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,
49. "And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah.s leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah.s leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;

45. Behold! the angels said: "O Mary! Allah giveth thee glad tidings of a Word from Him: his name will be Christ Jesus, the son of Mary, held in honour in this world and the Hereafter and of (the company of) those nearest to Allah.

386 Christ: Greek, Christos = anointed: kings and priests were anointed to symbolise consecration to their office. The Hebrew and Arabic form is Masih .

46. "He shall speak to the people in childhood and in maturity. And he shall be (of the company) of the righteous."

388 The ministry of Jesus lasted only about three years, from 30 to 33 years of his age, when in the eyes of his enemies he was crucified. But the Gospel of Luke ( 2:46 ) describes him as disputing with the doctors in the Temple at the age of 12, and even earlier, as a child, he was "strong in spirit, filled with wisdom" (Luke 2:40 ). Some apocryphal Gospels describe him as preaching from infancy.

47. She said: "O my Lord! How shall I have a son when no man hath touched me?" He said: "Even so: Allah createth what He willeth: When He hath decreed a plan, He but saith to it, 'Be,' and it is!

389 She was addressed by angels, who gave her Allah's message. In reply she speaks as to Allah. In reply, apparently an angel again gives Allah's message.

48. "And Allah will teach him the Book and Wisdom, the Law and the Gospel,

49. "And (appoint him) an apostle to the Children of Israel, (with this message): "'I have come to you, with a Sign from your Lord, in that I make for you out of clay, as it were, the figure of a bird, and breathe into it, and it becomes a bird by Allah.s leave: And I heal those born blind, and the lepers, and I quicken the dead, by Allah.s leave; and I declare to you what ye eat, and what ye store in your houses. Surely therein is a Sign for you if ye did believe;

390 This miracle of the clay birds is found in some of the apocryphal Gospels; those of curing the blind and the lepers and raising the dead are in the canonical Gospels. The original Gospel (see 3:48 ) was not the various stories written afterwards by disciples, but the real Message taught direct by Jesus.

391 I do not know whether this clause refers to a particular incident, or generally to a prophetic knowledge of what is not known to ordinary people.

The Temple in Jerusalem the Gospel of Philip

The Temple in Jerusalem

There were three structures for sacrifice in Jerusalem. One opened to the west and was called the holy place; a second opened to the south and was called the holy of the holy; the third opened to the east and was called the holy of holies, where only the high priest could enter. The holy place is baptism; the holy of the holy is redemption; the holy of holies is the bridal chamber. Baptism entails resurrection and redemption, and redemption is in the bridal chamber. The bridal chamber is within a realm superior to [what we belong to], and you cannot find anything [like it…. These] are the ones who worship [in spirit and in truth, for they do not worship] in Jerusalem. There are people in Jerusalem who [do worship] in Jerusalem, and they await [the mysteries] called [the holy] of holies, the curtain [of which] was torn. [Our] bridal chamber is the image [of the bridal chamber] [70] above. That is why its curtain was torn from top to bottom, for some people from below had to go up.

Temple, Cross, Ark

The mysteries of truth are made known in symbols and images. The bedchamber is hidden, and it is the holy of the holy. At first the curtain concealed how God manages creation, but when the curtain is torn and what is inside appears, this building will be left deserted, or rather will be destroyed. And the whole godhead will flee from here but not into the holy of holies, for it cannot mingle with pure [light] and [perfect] fullness. Instead it will remain under the wings of the cross [and under] its arms. This ark will be salvation [for people] when floodwaters [85] surge over them.

According to Valentinians theologians, the divine Fullness (pleroma) corresponds to the Holy of Holies in the Temple (Herakleon Fragment 13). Like the Holy of Holies, the Pleroma is separated from the "outer tent" (i.e. the cosmos) by a boundary or Limit which is often described as a curtain or "veil".

The Holy Spirit has made us a temple of Christ.

There were three buildings specifically for sacrifice in Jerusalem. The one facing the west was called "The Holy" [representing faith]. Another, facing south, was called "The Holy of the Holy" [representing water]. The third, facing east, was called "The Holy of the Holies" [representing spirit], the place where only the high priest enters [presently the “priest” is one who has “become as their Master”]. Baptism is "the Holy" building [the holy building is the temple of our body (“not made with hands”) where the individual spirit consciousness has “heard the word and believed” therefore receiving the seed of “Christ in you”]. Redemption is the "Holy of the Holy" [This is when the holy spirit anointing takes place and we begin to recognize the hidden things of God and begin “growing in stature and wisdom” much as Jesus did]. "The Holy of the Holies" is the bridal chamber [where the “Christ in you” is fully formed in the womb and becomes a begotten son of the Father ready to burst forth]. Baptism includes the resurrection and the redemption; the redemption (takes place) in the bridal chamber [when the male seed of the Father through Christ (remember this is not physical but thought!) is joined to the female spirit consciousness in your heart a new creation (son) takes place redeeming you from the “world”]. But the bridal chamber is in that which is superior to [...] you will not find [...] are those who pray [...] Jerusalem who [...] Jerusalem , [...] those called the "Holy of the Holies" [...] the veil was rent, [...] bridal chamber except the image [...] above. Because of this, its veil [the flesh] was rent from top to bottom [when the carnal mind is overcome by the spirit son it can no longer hinder him from seeing all that there is above and below, inside and outside]. For it was fitting for some from below to go upward [the firstfruits are raised to a higher status as part of a royal priesthood]. (Philip 61)

The temple contains the Holy Place and the Holy of Holies, but the Holy of Holies is only the gateway to still holier places. When we follow gnosis, our progression is Endless. When the Redeemer offered himself on the cross, the veil of the temple was torn in half from top to bottom. Prior to that time, only the high priest could enter the Holy of Holies, but after that, anyone could enter who would learn the keys for admission. The veil was parted so that every follower of gnosis could become a high priest and enter the Holy of Holies, through which they could ascend to holier places.

When the Son of the Elohim was crucified, the veil of the temple was torn from top to bottom. This was to show us that through the power generated on his cross, the way has been opened for us to pass through the veil to the Holy of Holies, and beyond it to the Bridal Chamber. The veil was torn completely so that we could know that everyone who gets as far as the veil can enter. Beyond the veil are the rooms of power. When you have entered them, you will begin to learn the true nature of power, and you will grow in that nature. Then you will become divine, for you will ascend in gnosis endlessly, becoming continually more integrated into that Reality which is your true nature. Your progression will be endless as you rise from world to world through Eternal Light. This is your potential because of the descent and death of the Redeemer. Because he descended, he has risen. Because he died, he has Eternal Life. Because you have descended with him, you will rise with him, and your name, too, will be Eternal. Amen

atonement

atonement

atonement--Reconciliation between God and man through Christ; the uniting of our consciousness with the higher consciousness. Jesus became the way by which all who accept Him may "pass over" to the higher consciousness. We have atonement through Him.

To comprehend the atonement requires a deeper insight into creative processes than the average man and the average woman have attained; not because they lack the ability to understand, but because they have submerged their thinking power in a grosser thought stratum. So only those who study Being from the standpoint of pure mind can come into an understanding of the atonement and the part that Jesus played in opening the way for humanity to enter into the glory that was theirs before the world was formed.

By reading the letter of the Bible and accepting it as authority, men have formed erroneous ideas regarding the atonement. The Spirit of truth alone can reveal the true meaning of Jesus Christ's mission and work. The atonement as it has been understood by Christian people in the past has not taken sin, suffering, and death from the world; therefore it must be that their understanding has fallen short of the Truth. Spiritual understanding of the atonement shows the way to deliverance from sin and consequently from all the effects of sin. In proportion as people understand and have faith in Jesus Christ as their actual Savior from sin, they are set free from appetite, passion, jealousy, prejudice, and all selfishness; wholeness of mind and body is the result. The ultimate of this knowledge and of daily practice in overcoming (even as Jesus Himself overcame) will be a new race that will demonstrate eternal life--the lifting up of the whole man--spirit, soul, and body--into the Christ consciousness of oneness with the Father. By means of the atonement--reconciliation, or atone-ment--that Jesus Christ reestablished between God and man, we can regain our original estate as sons of God, here upon earth. "Ye therefore shall be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect" (Matt. 5:48).

atonement can mean at-one-ment

Knowing oneness with what is, the eternal present. In oneness, actor, act and acted upon is experienced as the same. Perceiver, perceived and perceiving as well

The basic principle of Truth is that the mind of each individual may be consciously unified with Divine Mind through the indwelling Christ. By affirming at-one-ment with God-Mind, we eventually realize that perfect mind which was in Christ Jesus.

Truth, source of--God is a special, personal Father to all His children, and from no other source can they get absolute Truth.

truth, Spirit of--God's thought projecting into our mind ideas that will build spiritual consciousness like that of Jesus. The Spirit of truth watches every detail of our life. When we ask and by affirmation proclaim its presence, it brings new life into both mind and body and moves us to observe spiritual and physical laws that restore health.

What is the Sabbath

What is the Sabbath

Luke Chapter 6:5 And he said to them, "The Son of Man is also Lord of the Sabbath." The same day, observing someone working on the Sabbath, he told him, "My good man, if you know what you are doing you are blessed, but if you do not know you are accursed and a violator of the Law.

Gospel of Thomas Saying 27. "If you do not fast from the world, you will not find the (Father's) kingdom. If you do not observe the sabbath as a sabbath you will not see the Father."

The Gospel of Truth
He (Jesus) labored even on the Sabbath for the sheep which he found fallen into the pit. He saved the life of that sheep, bringing it up from the pit in order that you may understand fully what that Sabbath is, you who possess full understanding. It is a day in which it is not fitting that salvation be idle, so that you may speak of that heavenly day which has no night and of the sun which does not set because it is perfect. Say then in your heart that you are this perfect day and that in you the light which does not fail dwells.

The Interpretation of Knowledge
From being counted with the female, sleep brought labor and the sabbath, which is the world. For from being counted with the Father, sleep brought the sabbath and the exodus from the world of the beasts. For the world is from beasts and it is a beast. Therefore he that is lost has been reckoned to the crafty one, and that one is from the beasts that came forth. They put upon him a garment of condemnation, for the female had no other garment for clothing her seed except the one she brought on the sabbath. For no beast exists in the Aeon. For the Father does not keep the sabbath, but (rather) actuates the Son, and through the Son he continued to provide himself with the Aeons. The Father has living rational elements from which he puts on my members as garments. The man ... (11 lines missing)... this is the name. The [...] he emitted himself and he emitted the reproached one. The one who was reproached changed (his) name and, along with that which would be like the reproach, he appeared as flesh. And the humiliated one has no equipment. He has no need of the glory that is not his; he has his own glory with the name, which is the Son. Now he came that we might become glorious through the humiliated one that dwells in the places of humiliation. And through him who was reproached we receive the forgiveness of sins. And through the one who was reproached and the one who was redeemed we receive grace.

Sabbath observance required only of ancient Israel. The Sabbath first observed after Exodus. Ex 16:26, 27, 29, 30 Unique to natural Israel as sign. Ex 31:16, 17; Ps 147:19, 20
Sabbath years also required under Law. Ex 23:10, 11; Le 25:3, 4 Sabbath not necessary thing for Christians. Ro 14:5, 10; Ga 4:9-11

The Law abolished on basis of Jesus’ death. Eph 2:15 Therefore the Sabbath is not binding on Christians. Col 2:16, 17; Ro 14:5, 10 Some Christians were Reproved for observing Sabbath, etc. Ga 4:9-11; Ro 10:2-4 Believers Enter God’s rest by faith and obedience. Heb 4:9-11

God’s Sabbath rest (7th day of creative “week”) Began at close of earthly creation. Ge 2:2, 3; Heb 4:3-5 Continued past Jesus’ day on earth. Heb 4:6-8; Ps 95:7-9, 11 Christians rest from works of self-interest. Heb 4:9, 10 Ends when Kingdom completes work toward earth. 1Co 15:24, 28

The Sabbath of the Lord has nothing to do with any day of the week. God does not rest from His works every seventh day, and there is no evidence that there ever has been a moment's cessation in the activity of the universe. Those who stickle most for Sabbath day observance are met on every hand by the evidence of perpetual activity on the part of Him whom they claim to champion.

philo of alexandria

And on this account too Moses calls the sabbath, which name being interpreted means "rest," "the sabbath of God."{25}{#le 23:2.} Touching upon the necessary principles of natural philosophy, not of the philosophy of men, in many parts of his law, for that among existing things which rests, if one must tell the truth, is one thing only, God. And by "rest" I do not mean "inaction" (since that which is by its nature energetic, that which is the cause of all things, can never desist from doing what is most excellent), but I mean an energy completely free from labour, without any feeling of suffering, and with the most perfect ease; (88) for one may say, without impropriety, that the sun and the moon, and the entire heaven, and the whole world labour, inasmuch as they are not endowed with independent power, and are continually in a state of motion and agitation, and the most undeniable proofs of their labour are the yearly seasons; for these things, which have the greatest tendency in the whole heaven to keep things together, vary their motions, making their revolutions at one time northern, at another time southern, and at other times different from both. (89) The air, again, being sometimes warmed and sometimes cooled, and being capable of every sort of change, is easily proved to labour by the variations to which we feel that it is subject, since the most general cause of change is fatigue, and it would be folly to enter into any long detail about terrestrial or aquatic animals, dwelling at any length upon their general or particular changes; for these animals very naturally are liable to weakness in a much greater degree than those sublime objects, inasmuch as they partake to the greatest extent of the lowest, that is of earthly essence. (90) Since therefore it is naturally the case that things, which are changed, are changed in consequence of fatigue, and since God is subject to no variation and to no change, he must also by nature be free from fatigue, and that, which has no participation in weakness, even though it moves everything, cannot possibly cease to enjoy rest for ever. So that rest is the appropriate attribute of God alone.

The fact is that Divine Mind rests in a perpetual Sabbath and that which seems work is not work at all. When man becomes so at one with the Father-Mind as to feel it consciously he also recognizes this eternal peace in which all things are accomplished. He then knows that he is not subject to any condition whatsoever, but is "lord of the sabbath."

The Sabbath is the consciousness that we have fulfilled the divine law in both thought and act.

The Sabbath is a very certain, definite thing. It is a state of mind that man enters or acquires when he goes into the silence of his own soul, into the realm of Spirit. There he finds true rest and peace. The seventh day means the seventh or perfect stage of one's spiritual unfoldment. Man had become so lost in the darkness of sense consciousness that he could not save himself, so a Savior came. When man lays hold of the indwelling Christ, the Savior, he is raised out of the Adam consciousness into the Christ consciousness. He then enters the seventh stage of his unfoldment, where he finds rest and peace. The Sabbath can be enjoyed at any hour. Man shows his ignoranceand limits his happiness by confining the Sabbath to any one of the days of the week. He should learn to read theBible in the spirit, and pay less attention to the letter of it.

We are not to quarrel with our brother over observance of the Sabbath. If he insists that the Lord should be worshiped on the seventh day, let us joyfully join him on that day; and if he holds that the first day is the holy day, let us again acquiesce. Not only do we do God's service in praise, song, and thanksgiving on the seventh day and the first day, but every day. In the true Sabbath our souls are turned upward to God every moment, and we are ever ready to acknowledge His holy presence in our heart and life; we are ever praising the holy Omnipresence that burns its lamp of love perpetually in our heart and keeps the light of life before us on our way. This is the observance of God's holyday that the divinely wise soul a}ways recognizes. The true church is the heaven within one, where one meets theFather face to face, where one goes to Him at will, in closest fellowship.

On the other hand, the observance of every seventh day as a day of rest, or Sabbath, has its source deep in the constitution of things. Among nearly all peoples similar rest days have been instituted, and history proves that Moses was not the originator of the system. The observance of a weekly rest day is now very widely held to prove a natural basis in the needs of man. The consistency with which such an institution has been maintained for many centuries among Jews, Christians, Mohammedans, and some of the so-called pagan nations amply supports this view. It bast been found by experience that one day of rest in seven is the right proportion. During the French Revolution, when a ten-day period was substituted for the week, one day's rest in ten was found insufficient.

"And on the seventh day God finished his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made. And God blessed the seventh day, and hallowed it." This quotation from Genesis presentsin concise words a law that pervades the universe. According to some geologists the rock-ribbed earth beneath ourfeet bears record of six great creative periods, with a seventh in process of completion. Seven movements of thecreative law are found at the foundation of the world about us. The seven colors of the spectrum, the seven principal tones of music, the seven senses of man (two not yet universally used)--all point to these degrees or days of action and rest.

When man in his wisdom unites his thought with Divine Mind, as did Jesus, he has power to use the same creativelaw that God uses in bringing forth the universe. The seven elements of the body are found everywhere, and throughunderstanding that they are not fixed, material things, but forms of thought, man gains entrance to a realm where he can speak words that will give him the obedience of those elements, according to his power.

When you have gained power to still the stormy, undisciplined thoughts in your own mind you can speak to the winds and they will obey you. When you have arrested the scorching currents of anger that burn up your body cells you can quench the fire in a burning building. When you have ceased to drop into the weak, watery mental states called discouragement, despondency, and fear, you can command the waves and walk upon the waters, as did Jesus.

Before man can rise into his natural dominion, however, he must understand and realize that God's whole plan ofcreation is to bring forth the perfect man. This means that man is the supreme thing in creation and that all laws are for his convenience. The universal tendency of great men to manifest this inherent excellency proves that it is natural. Most of them miss the mark by seeking to dominate other men and nations before they have mastered themselves.

When men set up a law and make its observance burdensome they are slaves of their own creation. The Jews had become burdened with the observance of the letter of the Sabbath commandment, and had a multitude of ridiculous prohibitions and formalities, from which Jesus sought to rescue them by His example of bold freedom and disregard of certain man-made laws.

The Sabbath was instituted for man, not man for the Sabbath. It is lawful to do good on the Sabbath, whether it be preaching in a pulpit, healing the sick, or in any other way saving men from ignorance and its results. Luther said of the Sabbath: "Keep it holy for its use's sake both to body and soul. But if anywhere the day is made holy for the mere day's sake, if anywhere any one sets up its observance upon a Jewish foundation, then I order you to work on it, to ride on it, to dance on it, to feast on it, to do anything that shall reprove this encroachment on the Christian spirit and liberty."

To repeat, the true Sabbath is not the observance of an outer day; the outer is but the symbol. The true Sabbath is that state of mind in which we rest from outer thought and doings, and give ourselves up to meditation or to the study of things spiritual; it is when we enter into the stillness of our inner consciousness, think about God and His law, and commune with Him.

The Grace Consciousness John 1-17

The Grace Consciousness John 1-17

'Grace', from the Greek word literally means "highly favoured", not an act of benevolence of God toward man. When Paul uses the word 'grace', he uses it in appreciation of God for allowing Jesus to teach us the principles of his/God's logos/mind. In effect, grace implies God giving us the right to comprehend and participate in his will (logos/logic).

"Wisdom can also be considered grace."

"Grace and truth came through Jesus Christ" (John 1:17); that is, the real saving, redeeming, transforming power came to man through the work that Jesus did in establishing for the mankind a new Consciousness of Righteousness. We can enter into this consciousness by faith in Him and by means of the inner spirit of the law that He taught and practiced.

It is when we wake up to this truth that we are able to move out of a consciousness of sin and instead move into a consciousness of righteousness.

The grace of God extends to all people, not alone to one sect or creed. All men are equal in favour with God.

I have Faith: "Through the grace of God I am forgiven and healed."

The Births of Adam and Christ The Gospel of Philip

The Births of Adam and Christ
Adam came from two virgins, the spirit and the virgin earth. Christ was born of a virgin to correct the fall that occurred in the beginning.
This section is based on Genesis 2:7, where it is said that man was created from the dust of the earth, and that Elohim breathed into his nostrils the spirit of the breath of life.

two virgins the virgin spirit and the virgin earth

Adamah means "earth" in biblical Hebrew, thus Adam is the earthly man, which explains his being born from the virgin earth. The Gospel of Philip has already established that the spirit is female and is a virgin.

Adam [mankind] came into being from two virgins, from the Spirit [“elohim” – holy spirit] and from the virgin earth [the physical body (dust thereof) – the living soul with an individual spirit consciousness]. Christ therefore, was born from a virgin [in a physical body just as Adam’s was] to rectify the Fall which occurred in the beginning. (Philip 68)

The Fall of mankind was reversed in the Christ. In the beginning of this physical plane, the Divine Ones fell to produce mankind. In the Meridian of Time, mortality was lifted up in the Virgin Mary to produce a Divine Son. The Incarnation was the beginning of redemption from the Fall.

what is forgiveness

XV. The Saviour showed to the believing apostles prayer to be stronger than faith in the case of a demoniac, whom they could not cleanse, when He said, Such things are accomplished by prayer. He who has believed has obtained forgiveness of sins from the Lord; but he who has attained knowledge, inasmuch as he no longer sins, obtains from himself the forgiveness of the rest

The meaning of forgiveness

Num 14:18 ‘Yahweh is longsuffering and abundant in mercy, forgiving error and transgression;

Matt 6:12 and forgive us our debts, as we also have forgiven our debtors.

John 20:23 If you forgive the sins of any, they are forgiven them; if you retain the sins of any, they are retained.”

2 Corinthians 2:1010 Now whom you forgive anything, I also forgive. For if indeed I have forgiven anything, I have forgiven that one for your sakes in the presence of Christ,

Inasmuch as you have forgiven one another your trespasses, even so I, forgive you

Pray for forgiveness

: “Yes, nearly all things are cleansed with blood according to the Law, and unless blood is poured out no forgiveness takes place.” (Heb 9:22) However, the blood of animal sacrifices could not take away sins and give the individual a perfectly clean conscience. (Heb 10:1-4; 9:9, 13, 14)

By contrast, the foretold new covenant made possible true forgiveness, based on Jesus Christ’s ransom sacrifice. (Jer 31:33, 34; Mt 26:28; 1Co 11:25; Eph 1:7) Even while on earth, Jesus, by healing a paralytic, demonstrated that he had authority to forgive sins.—Mt 9:2-7

forgiveness is a process of giving up the false for the true; erasing sin and error from the mind and heart. It is closely related to repentance, which is a turning from belief in sin to belief in God and righteousness. A sin is forgiven when one ceases to sin, and true forgiveness is only established through the renewing of the mind and heart with thoughts and words of Truth.

The Greek word translated Forgiveness literally means “let go of. When you repent, you cease doing the things that you should not do. Jesus said that the son of man has power to forgive sin. Sin is the falling short of divine law, and repentance and forgiveness are the only means that man has of getting out of sin and its effect and coming into harmony with the God.

It is through forgiveness that true spiritual healing is accomplished. Forgiveness removes the errors of the mind, and harmony results in accordance with divine law. therefore, we must forgive all men their transgressions. Through the divine law of forgiveness we cleanse our mind so that the Father can forgive us

When Eve Was in Adam The Gospel of Philip

When Eve Was in Adam

When Eve was in Adam, there was no death. When she was separated from him, death came. If <she> enters into him again and he embraces <her>, death will cease to be. The Gospel of Philip

And the LORD God caused a deep sleep to fall upon Adam, and he slept: and he took one of his ribs, and closed up the flesh instead thereof; Genesis 2:21

"And He took one of his ribs" — The word tsela, from tsala "to incline," is nowhere else used for "rib," but is translated "side" (e.g. Exod. 25:12). Exactly what part, or how much, of Adam's side was taken from him is not revealed. But whatever part it was, it transferred the feminine qualities of the man to Eve, his wife (Eph. 5:22). She became his counterpart; and she, complementing him, made him complete.

Likewise I became very small, so that through my humility I might take you up to the great height, whence you had fallen. You were taken to this pit. If now you believe in me, it is I who shall take you above, through this shape that you see. It is I who shall bear you upon my shoulders. Enter through the rib whence you came and hide yourself from the beasts. The Interpretation of Knowledge

In the The Interpretation of Knowledge Christ exhorts the believers: “Enter in through the rib, the place from which you came forth and hide yourself from the beasts.”

The flesh of the crucified Christ is connected with the veil of the Jerusalem Temple, Christ’s spear-wound is also being understood here as the mystical portal to the heavenly holy of holies, the concepts of the Edenic Paradise and the holy of holies were by no means mutually exclusive in antiquity

Jubilees 8.19: “And [Noah] knew that the garden of Eden was the holy of holies and

the dwelling of the Lord”; cf. 4.23–26; the Tree of Life) also appears alongside temple imagery (e.g. the throne of God) in John of Patmos’s vision of the New Jerusalem in Revelation 22:1–5; in the New Testament (Luke 23:43; 2 Corinthians 12:4; Revelation 2:7), “all of the texts seem to reflect the equation of the heavenly paradise with the heavenly temple”.

According to Gos. Phil., the living sacrifice of Christ upon the Cross obviated the earthly sacrificial cult that worshipped the beasts: “Indeed, the beasts (xNchrion) were the ones to whom they sacrificed. They were indeed offering them up alive, but when they offered them up, they died. As for man, they offered him up to God dead, and he lived.”

Similarly, “God is a man-eater. For this reason, men are sacrificed to him. Before men were sacrificed, beasts (xNchrion) were being sacrificed, since those to whom they were sacrificed were not gods

In these two passages, the beasts (chrion; Gk. θήριον; pl. θηρία) are identified with both the things being sacrificed, and the things being sacrificed to, suggesting that the earthly Temple cult is performed in the service of the beasts, the demiurge and his archons, by those who come from them and are consubstantial with them.

Hence, Gos. Phil. says of the true heavenly Temple cult, “A bridal chamber is not for the beasts (Nchrion), nor is it for the slaves, nor for defiled women; but it is for free men and virgins.”95 Again the bridal chamber is identified as one of the “buildings for sacrifice” (Nhei Mma N+prosvora; Gos. Phil. 69.14–15) in the Temple, a place in which men and virgins can enter, but beasts cannot.

This corresponds well with the present interpretation of the imagery in Interp. Know. 10.34b–37a, namely, that once the Valentinian soul has entered through the veil of Christ’s flesh, it can hide itself from the beasts in the temple of his body, having ceased to be a slave (14.34–38). In the Excerpts of Theodotus, it is likewise clear that these “

the “rib” or “side” (speir) of Christ in 10.35 may be an allusion to Jesus’s assertion, “I am the gate for the sheep ... Whoever enters by me will be saved”

Exc. Theod. 26.2–3: “Wherefore whenever he would say, ‘I am the door’, he means that you, who are of the superior seed, shall come as far as the Limit where I am. And whenever he enters in, the superior seed also enters into the Pleroma with him, brought together and brought in through the door”

By a show of faith, the soul can re-enter the divine realm through the “rib” (speir) of the crucified Christ, hide itself from its adversaries, and have the burden of the flesh alleviated.

This entry into the body of the crucified Christ is thought to facilitate a heavenly ascent. This soteriology is unpacked further in Interp. Know. 11–14, which as was mentioned above, has been called a “complex Midrash” on the sayings of 9.28–10.38.42

Moreover, when the great Son was sent after his small brothers, he spread abroad the edict of the Father and proclaimed it, opposing the All. And he removed the old bond of debt, the one of condemnation. And this is the edict that was: Those who made themselves enslaved have become condemned in Adam. They have been brought from death, received forgiveness for their sins, and been redeemed The Interpretation of Knowledge

Firstly, in being crucified, Christ inaugurated a new covenant, or “edict,” to replace the old Adamic one, which is here described as a “bond of condemnation.”50 That which was

inaugurated by Adam brought about slavery, death, and sin. Christ came to reverse this by means of his self-sacrifice. It is clear from the imagery in 10.34–36 that the evil Adamic covenant was not the result of his transgression of God’s will, but rather the separation of Eve from Adam’s side, which apparently brought death into the world.51 Hence we see in our saying, Christ, in his role as the Second Adam, exhorting the soul to return whence it came (his rib), and thereby restore the primal androgyne, overcome death, and receive redemption, being “reborn in the flesh and blood of (the Saviour)”

When Eve [the holy spirit (mother of everyone living)] was still with Adam [still in the creative thoughts of the Father], death did not exist [God does not die, hence His image and likeness would not die as long as it continued in Oneness with the Father]. When she was separated from him [when she was manifest in creation as individual spirit consciousness (i.e. was able to make independent choices)], death came into being [by making the wrong choice to follow a path contrary to Gods Law causing double mindedness – it is the separation of the will of the Father from the will of individual spirit]. If he enters again [into harmony with the will of the Father] and attains his former self [brings body, soul and spirit back together as One], death will be no more [this is victory over death]

The Gospel of Thomas Saying 104

The Gospel of Thomas Saying 104

[104]. They said [to him:] "Come, let us pray and fast today!" Jesus says: "What then is the sin that I have committed, or in what have I been at fault? But when the bridegroom comes out of the bridal chamber, then they must fast and pray!"

Notice that “they” rather than “you” is the form used here, so that Jesus is implicitly is speaking about people outside the immediate audience of the saying that is the Pharisees.

"Jesus is asked to pray and fast (see Sayings 5 and 14). Since he has committed no sin, he refuses

Although we do not know the particulars regarding this fast, it seems from Jesus’ response, that Jesus is telling these Pharisees that he had no personal reason to fast on that day. In addition, Jesus indicates that their timing for the fast was inappropriate. But when  the bridegroom comes out of the bridal chamber at the second coming than the false believers will fast and pray"

104) They [the Pharisees] said [to Jesus], "Come, let us pray today and let us fast [thinking in their fleshly minds that these lower/outward forms of worship are beneficial]." Jesus said, "What is the sin that I have committed [that I should join with you in prayer], or wherein have I been defeated [when was I overcome by the flesh]? But when the bridegroom [the Word] leaves the bridal chamber [of your heart - as a result of turning back to the rudiments of the world], then let them [those who have fallen to the robbers losing the Keys of Knowledge] fast and pray." (Lk 5:33-39; Mt 9:14-17; etc..)

Gnostic Prophecies about Jesus

Prophecies about Jesus

Eugnostos’s own theological discussion about the nature of the supernal realms, ending in a prophecy of the coming of a revealer who will bring further revelation.

Eugnostos is made to prophesy about the coming of Christ as interpreter: “Now all these things that I have just told you (sing.),44 I have said in a way that you will be able to bear, until the one who is unteachable appears to you, and he will speak all of these things to you joyfully and in pure knowledge” (Eugnostos III 90,4–11).

Gospel of Thomas (52) His students said to him, Twenty-four prophets have spoken in Israel and they all spoke of you.  He said to them, You have disregarded the living one among you and have spoken of the dead.

This saying in the Gospel of Thomas it is not really a prophecy, it first confirms the Old Testament prophets all speaking about Jesus this show us that the writer of the text believed that the OT prophets prognosticated information about Jesus. next Jesus himself declares his own prophetic status

The Nag Hammadi Library Melchizedek:

Furthermore, they will say of him that he is unbegotten, though he has been begotten, (that) he does not eat, even though he eats, (that) he does not drink, even though he drinks, (that) he is uncircumcised, though he has been circumcised, (that) he is unfleshly, though he has come in the flesh, (that) he did not come to suffering, <though> he came to suffering, (that) he did not rise from the dead, <though> he arose from the dead.

This is an anti docetism prophecy

On the Origin of the World

Now the Word that is superior to all beings was sent for this purpose alone: that he might proclaim the unknown. He said, "There is nothing hidden that is not apparent, and what has not been recognized will be recognized." And these were sent to make known what is hidden, and the seven authorities of chaos and their impiety. And thus they were condemned to death.

The Revelation (Apocalypse) of Adam

Once again, for the third time,  the illuminator of knowledge passes by in great glory to leave some of the seed of Noah and the sons of Ham and Japheth—to leave fruit-bearing trees for himself.  And he redeems their souls from the day of death. The whole creation that came from the dead earth will be under the authority of death. But those who reflect on the knowledge of the eternal god in their hearts will not perish. They have not received spirit from this kingdom  but from something eternal, angelic. . . . The illuminator will come . . . Seth. And he will perform signs and wonders to scorn the powers and their ruler.
Then the god of the powers  is disturbed and says, “What is the power of this person who is higher than we are?”  Then he brings a great wrath against that person. And glory withdraws and lives in holy houses it has chosen for itself. The powers do not see it with their eyes, nor do they see the illuminator. They punish the flesh of the one over whom the holy spirit has come.

The old man and the new man

The old man is the outward senses, the carnal mind, the thinking of the flesh, the ego or personality. The old man is separate in consciousness from God. This is a believer before he or she receives the new life that is in Christ.

We must crucify the old man and remove him out of our consciousness so that the Christ may be resurrected in us. This we do by the renewing of our mind.

Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind
and have put on the new self who is being renewed to a true knowledge according to the image of the One who created him

The "new man" is born of the word of God.  A birth is a coming into a state of being. The "new birth" is the coming into a higher state of being. The realisation by the believer of his or her spiritual identity, the Christ consciousness the real seal.

The contrast between the old man and the new man is similar to that which Paul draws in 1 Cor. 15:45 between the “first man”, Adam, and the “last” man, Christ. Therefore I suggest that the “old man” here is a reference to our status in Adam; by baptism we pass from that status to that of the “new man”, Christ. Eph. 4:22-24 exhorts baptized believers to put off the old man and put on the new man- i.e. to live out in practice the change in status which occurred in baptism.

“The new man” is composed of both Jew and Gentile (Eph. 2:15; Col. 3:10,11)- connecting with how Gal. 3:27-29 explains that baptism into Christ likewise gives us a status of “in Christ” which thereby removes any difference between Jew and Gentile. If “the old man” refers to our status in Adam which has now ended, been crucified, then we need no longer be phased by the fact that no baptized believer manages to totally avoid sinning; none of us have put to death the old manner of life in totality. All our days we seek to respond to the change of status which has occurred, living appropriate to that change.

We must " put off the old man" (Eph. 4:22); and yet " ye have put off the old man" (Col. 3:9). Have we, or haven't we? In God's eyes we have, in that the new man has been created, and the old man died in the waters of baptism. But of course we are still in the flesh; and the old man must yet be put off. What happened at our baptism must be an ongoing process; of laying the old man to rest in death, and rising again in the newness of life. The Gospel 'instructs us to the intent that, having once and for all put away ungodliness (i.e. in baptism) and worldly lusts, we should live in a holy manner' (Tit. 2:12 Gk.). Having put these things off in baptism, we must live a life of putting them off.
