The Son of Man in the Book of Enoch

In the book of Enoch, Enoch relates his heavenly visions when he is permitted to see the very Last times. in the divine court he beholds the son of man. (The Passover Plot)

46.1 And there I saw one who had a 'Head of Days' and his head was white like wool.  And with him there was another whose face had the appearance of a man and his face was full of grace like one of the Holy Angels.
46.2 And I asked one of the Holy Angels, who went with me and showed me all the secrets, about that Son of Man, who he was, and from where he was, and why he went with the Head of Days.

Enoch describes Christ at various points, employing the titles of Messiah (48:10; 52:4), the Righteous One (38:2; 53:6), the Elect One (40:5; 45:3–4; 49:2, 4; 51:3), the Lamb (90:38), and the Son of Man (46:3; 48:2; 62:9, 14).

Christ is to judge the world in righteousness and will reveal all things: “This is the Son of Man who has righteousness, with whom dwells righteousness, and who revealed all the treasures of that which is hidden, because the Lord of Spirits has chosen him.” (46:3.)

In a passage in which God speaks of the resurrection, it is clear that Christ will play a key role in that event:

“And in those days shall the earth also give back that which has been entrusted to it, and Sheol also shall give back that which it has received, and destruction shall give back that which it owes. For in those days the Elect One shall arise; and he shall choose the righteous and holy from among them: for the day has come near that they should be saved. And the Elect One shall in those days sit on My throne, and his mouth shall pour forth all the secrets of wisdom and counsel.” (51:1–3.)

The visions Enoch saw in this book are going to take place in the last days he did not see the Son of Man in is own time but in the latter generations the second coming of the son of man when he will return at the end time. This is not a reference to mean that the Son of Man had pre-existence before he was born.

The principle of the idea is expressed in the words of Paul (Romans 4:17) "God who quickens the dead, and calls those things which be not (but are to be) AS THOUGH THEY WERE."

So the Father knew what sort of person the Son would be before he was actually born and began to exist as a person. He could plan what He would eventually accomplish through him. He could "glorify" and "love" in advance His own Son, "the only-begotten of the Father".

As the Apostle Peter put it:

"Christ was foreknown indeed before the foundation of the world, but was manifested at the end of the times for your sake" (1 Peter 1:20, R.V.).

So too the saying of Jesus to the Jews:
"Your father Abraham rejoiced to see my day; and he saw it, and was glad . . . Before Abraham was, I am" (John 8:56-58).

Abraham, having received the promises, looked forward to the coming of the One in whom "all families of the earth shall be blessed" (Genesis 12:3). Jesus knew that he was that One, having priority even over Abraham in God's purpose.

The son of man is presented in the mind of God and chosen before the creation, and from time to time revealed to the righteous but the son of man is neither divine nor actually pre-existent. the son of man is named and hidden from the beginning in the secret thoughts (logos) of God, finally to be revealed in the last times as the ideal man who will justify god's creation of the world. (The Passover Plot)

In this sense he is the second Adam, the heavenly man answering to the light Adam. The son of man is an image of Enoch's own righteous self so that we are not required to go beyond the idea that when the Messiah would be manifested he would embody that perfect righteousness which God from the beginning designed for mankind and which was present in the holy saints of all ages. (The Passover Plot)

By virtue of that perfection of holiness man in the Christ is exalted to the right hand of God and is chosen to be God's representative in the reborn and redeemed world from which all sin has been banished. The son of man is so to speak the essential Messiah embodied in all the anointed ones the eternal principle of righteousness personified and manifested in all the just ones (The Passover Plot)

In Daniel the people of the saints of the Most High are likened to a son of man compare Daniel 7:9 13, 14, 26, 27

The Saints who are to possess the kingdom are the son of man.

Thus the son of man is a collective or the son is a Corporate Being the multitudinous Christ

Gnostic Prophecies about Jesus

Prophecies about Jesus

Eugnostos’s own theological discussion about the nature of the supernal realms, ending in a prophecy of the coming of a revealer who will bring further revelation.

Eugnostos is made to prophesy about the coming of Christ as interpreter: “Now all these things that I have just told you (sing.),44 I have said in a way that you will be able to bear, until the one who is unteachable appears to you, and he will speak all of these things to you joyfully and in pure knowledge” (Eugnostos III 90,4–11).

Gospel of Thomas (52) His students said to him, Twenty-four prophets have spoken in Israel and they all spoke of you.  He said to them, You have disregarded the living one among you and have spoken of the dead.

This saying in the Gospel of Thomas it is not really a prophecy, it first confirms the Old Testament prophets all speaking about Jesus this show us that the writer of the text believed that the OT prophets prognosticated information about Jesus. next Jesus himself declares his own prophetic status

The Nag Hammadi Library Melchizedek:

Furthermore, they will say of him that he is unbegotten, though he has been begotten, (that) he does not eat, even though he eats, (that) he does not drink, even though he drinks, (that) he is uncircumcised, though he has been circumcised, (that) he is unfleshly, though he has come in the flesh, (that) he did not come to suffering, <though> he came to suffering, (that) he did not rise from the dead, <though> he arose from the dead.

This is an anti docetism prophecy

On the Origin of the World

Now the Word that is superior to all beings was sent for this purpose alone: that he might proclaim the unknown. He said, "There is nothing hidden that is not apparent, and what has not been recognized will be recognized." And these were sent to make known what is hidden, and the seven authorities of chaos and their impiety. And thus they were condemned to death.

The Revelation (Apocalypse) of Adam

Once again, for the third time,  the illuminator of knowledge passes by in great glory to leave some of the seed of Noah and the sons of Ham and Japheth—to leave fruit-bearing trees for himself.  And he redeems their souls from the day of death. The whole creation that came from the dead earth will be under the authority of death. But those who reflect on the knowledge of the eternal god in their hearts will not perish. They have not received spirit from this kingdom  but from something eternal, angelic. . . . The illuminator will come . . . Seth. And he will perform signs and wonders to scorn the powers and their ruler.
Then the god of the powers  is disturbed and says, “What is the power of this person who is higher than we are?”  Then he brings a great wrath against that person. And glory withdraws and lives in holy houses it has chosen for itself. The powers do not see it with their eyes, nor do they see the illuminator. They punish the flesh of the one over whom the holy spirit has come.

The Apocalyptic Ladder of Jacob

The Ladder of Jacob

‘l 5 Thus he said to me: “You have seen a ladder with twelve steps, each step having two human faces which kept changing their appearance as this age, and the twelve steps are the periods' of this age. 'But the twenty-four faces are the kings of the ungodly nations of this age.

In Genesis the account of Jacob's Ladder is given in chapter 28:10-15 however the text does not say how many steps the ladder has nor does it have any faces on it

Genesis 28:12 Then he dreamed, and behold, a ladder was set up on the earth, and its top reached to heaven; and there the angels of God were ascending and descending on it.

13 And behold, Yahweh stood above it and said: “I am Yahweh God of Abraham your father and the God of Isaac; the land on which you lie I will give to you and your descendants.

14 Also your descendants shall be as the dust of the earth; you shall spread abroad to the west and the east, to the north and the south; and in you and in your seed all the families of the earth shall be blessed.

15 Behold, I am with you and will keep you wherever you go, and will bring you back to this land; for I will not leave you until I have done what I have spoken to you.”

However in the Apocalyptic Ladder of Jacob the text says that the ladder has twelve steps and each step has 2 human faces

“You have seen a ladder with twelve steps, each step having two human faces which kept changing their appearance as this age, ~and the twelve steps are the periods' of this age. 'But the twenty-four faces are the kings of the ungodly nations of this age.

This could be based upon 1kings 10:19,20

19 The throne had six steps, and its back had a rounded top. On both sides of the seat were armrests, with a lion standing beside each of them.

20 Twelve lions stood on the six steps, one at either end of each step. Nothing like it had ever been made for any other kingdom.

The lions would be the rulers of this age which in the Apocalyptic Ladder of Jacob are human faces as lions are symbols of kings or rulers. In the book of Kings the steps up to the throne are six ascending thus there would be six steps to descend the throne as well this makes 12 steps altogether

Now getting back to the Genesis text the promises to Abraham and Isaac are now given to Jacob

Therefore, the time between the giving of the promise and its fulfillment was represented by a ladder of extraordinary length. One end stood at Bethel and the other end extended into the heavens.

a ladder is a device that connects separate points by which a person at the lower end can reach a desired height.

Hence, it is a connector between points of distance. this ladder however is not about locations but distant eras the ages and generations that connect them have a similar relationship to the period as a ladder has to the ground on which it rests and the point of elevation against which it leans.

Thus, the ladder in Jacob's vision represented his seed in their generations and appointed times.

The Lord Jesus identified himself with this ladder (John 1:51). He is the way of ascent to the heavenly places above (Col. 3:1-2). No man comes to the Father but by him (John 14:6). He stands as the summit of faith (Phil. 3:14).

Upon this ladder of ages and generations, with Jacob at the bottom and his seed, the Mesiah, at the top, 'the angels of God were seen ascending and descending'. This represented to him that the events of his posterity, natural and spiritual, in all their relations with the world, would be administrated by the Elohim, who would pass to and fro between earth and heaven, in the performance of their work. Hence, the apostle styles them, 'All ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation' (Heb. 1:14).

The work of the angels in supervising the affairs of the saints, as symbolically moving up and down the staircase of Yahweh's purpose, will cease, for, as the apostle remarks: 5 It is not to angels that he has subjected the world to come, about which we are speaking. (Heb. 2:5).

The staircase, therefore, represented the ages and generations of the called; whilst the angels moving up and down it, symbolised the angelic supervision of the times and the individuals associated with the divine purpose.

Perhaps as well [Jacob] caught a glimpse of his own [future] life in this visionary ladder.

The ladder Represents the step-by-step realisation by means of which a believer assimilates the divine ideas of the Gospel that come to him from the spirit word.

The ladder represents the step-by-step ascension of man from material to spiritual consciousness. Yahweh the spiritual God consciousness, stands above, assuring the believer of a worthwhile inheritance.

The angels or messengers represent thoughts or words of truth necessary to the unfolding of the higher consciousness.

What do we “understand” by the “gate of heaven”? This is the state of consciousness through which we pass from activity on the outer or physical side to meditation and prayer on the inner or mental side.

Jesus does not bring peace Gospel of Thomas Saying 16

Jesus said: Perhaps men think that I am come to cast peace upon the world; and they do not know that I am come to cast dissensions upon the earth, fire, sword, war. For there will be five who are in a house; three shall be against two and two against three, the father against the son and the son against the father, and they shall stand as solitaries.

The Lord did not come to throw peace upon the world nor even bring loving harmony to families. In saying 16 we hear of the nearness of God’s judgement and Jesus’ role as God’s agent of judgement. Fire plays a dominant role in God’s retributive and punitive actions of judgement in the last days. The fire, sword, and war came in 70 CE and will come again.

For early Christians and true believers today their foes are they of his own house. For a submissive son, for the sake of salvation, should separate from unbelieving relatives and friends and associates. Thus at the time of the end families will be chaotic and shall be in disarray.

“They will stand as a single one” The standing is a metaphor for anastasis a Greek word meaning standing up this word is translated resurrection in the NT.

The single one is the one body or the multitudinous Christ. For in the text of the GTh it says “they” and they are a group a celibate people.

There is another meaning to this saying and saying 10 it has to do with our interior battle with our passions, our demons that we need to cast out, see Gal 5:16-21 or anything that has us in its power i.e. drink and drugs, TV or anything that stops us form (add more)

We have with in us an evil root it may or may not have budded within you? But by the word of God we may kindle a fire to destroy the evil root. Also in saying 7 the lion could be compared to the beast in Rev 13 who has a mouth of a lion which is the beast within us for which is a a man’s number and he who understands not is like the beast that perish. (Psa 49:12,20 ) And in Daniel 7 the lion is made to stand up like a man and a man’s heart was given to it. All of this has nothing to do with a personal devil but the thinking of the flesh which is the Bible devil.

Jesus does not bring peace to the world but fire sword war (Saying 16)

16)## Jesus said, "Men think [in their carnal reasoning], perhaps, that it is peace which I have come to cast upon the earth [what He cast upon the earth was the Word - the seeds of Truth]. They [the outward reasoning men] do not know [are not able to discern] that it is dissension which I have come to cast upon the earth [this is the result of the myriads of carnal, errant interpretation so the Word which opens up a spiritual battleground]: fire [which sears one's conscience as a refiners tool or burns up those who are condemned], sword [of Truth which divides asunder], and war [within our members]. For there will be five in a house: three [those who reconcile the OT and the NT with the Hidden higher/internal (spiritual) meanings of the Word as completely supportive of each other] will be against two [the OT and the NT in their lower/outward forms], and two against three, the father [of the Jews and Christo-pagans (the devil) who are stuck on the "Letter" of both the OT and NT still using outward forms] against the son [the Elect who have the Keys of Knowledge and the hidden meanings of the Word], and the son against the father. And they will stand solitary [they cannot mix - the "letter" (lower/outward {fleshly} form) kills while the spirit of truth (higher/inward (spiritual) substance) of the Word gives life - on the other hand to stand alone or solitary may elude to the final result of both of these groups coming together as one in the end]."

fire upon the world Gospel of Thomas Saying 10

Gospel of Thomas Saying 10 Jesus said, "I have cast fire upon the world, and see, I am watching over it until it blazes."

In saying 16 Jesus does not bring peace upon the world but fire war and the sword so in saying 10 Jesus is speaking about the trouble in his day and that of 70 CE and also in our own time

In Saying 82 fire and the kingdom are equivalent terms just as Jesus is equivalent with the Kingdom so here when he throws fire upon the world we should understand that he has come to reveal the knowledge of the Kingdom upon the world.

This is a refiner’s fire, to refine the heart of men for the day of judgement. The knowledge that makes us responsible to the truth comes by faith and faith by hearing and hearing by the word of God. Thus it can make us wise unto salvation by faith in Christ Jesus, for the word of God is beneficial for teaching, for reproving for correction, for disciplining in righteousness. This is the fire of the knowledge of the kingdom of God that saves us 1Cor 3:13-15 for our faith is tried with fire 1pe 1:7vso the forgiveness of sins is to purify the sins of the world with fire.

The fire is also the fire of judgment

Therefore, after we are refined we shall be made like fire just like Jesus is now for Yahweh makes his ministers a flame of fire (God manifestation). (Cp. Saying 82) So by listening to Jesus’ words and abide by them we will overcome our passions. Cp. Saying 7, 8, 9

10)# Jesus said, "I have cast fire upon the world [by showing us the Way, the Truth and the Life which is the fire that sears our individual spirit consciousness (soul) when we are doing anything that we know to be in opposition to the will of the Father - this fire is our inward trial and judgment], and see, I am guarding it until it blazes [for it will either refine (the Elect) or burn up (as chaff) the faithless]."

Leviathan and Behemoth Book of Enoch

Leviathan and Behemoth

A Fragment from the lost Apocalypse of Noah

A Fragment of the Book of Noah

The Book of Enoch [Chapter 60]

Noah reads from a parable from the writings of Enoch. This is confirmed in verss 9 where my grandfather was taken up, the seventh from Adam, the first man whom the Lord of Spirits created

Or, "my [great-] grandfather was taken up, the seventh from Adam" (Charles, p. 155). This implies that this section of the book was written by Noah, Enoch's descendant, rather than Enoch. Scholars have speculated that this portion of the book may contain fragments of the lost Apocalypse of Noah.

In the five hundredth year, and in the seventh month, on the fourteenth day of the month Noah saw the heaven of heavens shaking the Ancient of Days was sitting on the Throne of His Glory, while the angels and holy ones were standing around Him. A great trembling came upon him Noah fell upon his face (a symbol of  death). Prince Michael, a holy angel, one of the holy ones, was sent and he raised him up. (a symbol of the Resurrection)

the Ancient of Days is the Lord Jesus Christ and the Throne of His Glory is the Throne of his Father king David

60:2 And when he raised me, my spirit returned; for I was incapable of enduring this vision of violence, and the quaking of the heaven (Heb. 12:26-29).

60:3 Then holy Michael said to me: Why art thou disturbed at this vision?

60:4 Until now has existed the Period of Mercy (The age of grace or the gospel age the times of the gentiles); and He has been merciful and long-suffering towards all who dwell upon the Earth (Ps. 86:15; Isa. 42:14; 2 Pet. 3:9).

60:5 But when the time shall come, then shall the power, the punishment, and the Judgement take place, that the Lord of Spirits (The Eternal Spirit The Father Yahweh) has prepared for those who prostrate themselves to The Judgement of Righteousness (The Judgement of Christ), for those who dispute that Judgement, and for those who take His name in vain.

60:6 That day has been prepared for the Elect as a day of Covenant; and for sinners as a day of inquisition.

60:7 In that day shall be separated from one another two monsters (redistribution of their wealth); a female monster (Rev. 17:1), whose name is Leviathan (CHURCH) dwelling in the depths of the "sea" (Ps. 65:7), above the springs of "waters" (Rev. 17:15);

60:8 And a male (Rev. 17:2), whose name is Behemoth (STATE)
who occupied with his breast a waste wilderness.

The 'Synagogue of Satan' works on TWO FRONTS: CHURCH and STATE.

the CHURCH IS ONLY PART; there are TWO BEASTS that enslave men: Church and State.

The HARLOT (CHURCH) RIDES THE BEAST (STATE).

The HIDDEN HAND runs BOTH OF THEM.

The Book of Enoch is the little scroll of Revelation 10

Rev. 10:10 And I took the little book (the book of Enoch) out of the angel's hand, and ate it up; and it was in my mouth sweet as honey: and as soon as I had eaten (digested) it, my belly was bitter.
10:11 And he said unto me, Thou must prophesy AGAIN before many peoples, and nations, and tongues, and kings [This CLEARLY SAYS that the 'little book' the book of Enoch is for the end times for the last generation and will be MADE AVAILABLE DURING THE TIME OF THE END].

The little scroll is The Book of Enoch?!! This is why it has been fiercely hidden and kept out of the canon! And all the while, perhaps it is God's plan? I am only speculating. To this day scholars still carefully avodi  it, emphasizing "it is not canon" yet they still refer to it! To me it seems all the more reason to read The Book of Enoch.

The book written by Enoch-[Enoch indeed wrote this complete doctrine of wisdom, (which is) praised of all men and a judge of all the earth] for all my children who shall dwell on the earth. And for the future generations who shall observe uprightness and peace.

there are many parallels with Enoch and the book of Revelation as well as other apocalypses. God inspired it and intentionally placed images and phrases from other prophets in order that we should go and examine those prophets to see the bigger picture; to unlock various prophecies. Revelation is a like a reference book explaining the bigger picture which was unclear or hidden before Jesus' revelation. it is basically for the elect in the end times

The Book of Revelation has the same message with the book of Enoch.

The end event is singular and established by Yahweh. So john and Enoch saw the end event.

So the book of Enoch corroborates perfectly with the book of revelation, along with the other prophets in the canon. but one has to dig this out for themselves and see it for themselves. if they are read together making comparisons, it can clearly be seen that Enoch is inspired.

all the prophets give us the same picture of the end times and the judgment seat. the Father authenticates and confirms His Word.

Enoch 1:9 “ And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones To execute judgement upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.
.”

Revelation 19:14 14 And the armies in heaven, clothed in fine linen, white and clean, followed Him on white horses. 15 Now out of His mouth goes a sharp[g] sword, that with it He should strike the nations. And He Himself will rule them with a rod of iron. He Himself treads the winepress of the fierceness and wrath of Almighty God. 16 And He has on His robe and on His thigh a name written:
KING OF KINGS AND
LORD OF LORDS.

ENOCH 9:3 ... Then they said to their Lord, the King, Thou art Lord of lords, God of gods,
King of kings. The throne of thy glory is for ever and ever, and for ever and ever is thy name
sanctified and glorified. Thou art blessed and glorified.

ENOCH 47:1 In that day the prayer of the holy and the righteous, and the blood of the

righteous, shall ascend from the earth into the presence of the Lord of spirits.

REV. 6:10 And they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost

thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth?

Rev 19:15 Now Coming out of his mouth is a sharp sword with which to strike down the nations. “He will rule them with an iron scepter.” He treads the winepress of the fury of the wrath of God Almighty..

ENOCH 61:4 The word of his mouth shall destroy all the sinners and all the ungodly, who shall

perish at his presence.
5 In that day shall all the kings, the princes, the exalted, and those who possess the earth, stand
up, behold, and perceive, that he is sitting on the throne of his glory; that before him the saints
shall be judged in righteousness;
6 And that nothing, which shall be spoken before him, shall be spoken in vain.
7 Trouble shall come upon them, as upon a woman in travail, whose labour is severe, when her
child comes to the mouth of the womb, and she finds it difficult to bring forth.

compare revelation 12

8 One portion of them shall look upon another. They shall be astonished, and shall humble their
countenance;
9 And trouble shall seize them, when they shall behold this Son of woman sitting upon the throne
of his glory.

REV. 6:15 And the kings of the earth, and the great men, and the rich men, and the chief

captains, and the mighty men, and every bondman, and every free man, hid themselves in the
dens and in the rocks of the mountains;
16 And said to the mountains and rocks, Fall on us, and hide us from the face of him that sitteth
on the throne, and from the wrath of the Lamb:
17 For the great day of his wrath is come; and who shall be able to stand?

We will all partake of that cup (THE GREAT TRIBULATION) - Unless you READ the "little book" AND DO WHAT IT TOLD YOU TO DO...

enoch chapter one a message for the last days

In Chapter One, Enoch is called to declare events that will take place in the last generation, in visions given to him by God. In the visions, he describes Jesus' Second Coming with the saints, and the judgement of the unrighteous).

1 The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect and righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked and godless are to be removed.

1.) [*The words of the blessings of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the Elect (the Redeemed Jews) and (the) Righteous (the Redeemed Gentiles), who will be living in the day of tribulation (the last 10 years that are left of the times of the Gentiles just prior to Jesus' return), when all the (unredeemed) wicked and godless (sinners) are to be (judged by Jesus. On the day Jesus sets up the kingdom upon  the earth, He will separate the sheep "the Redeemed" from the goats "the unredeemed." At which time, the "goats" the unredeemed will be) removed (from the earth, and cast into the Lake of Fire).]

(NOTE: When Jesus returns to the earth, He will send His Angels out to the far corners of the earth and the heavens and gather in all who remain alive, and conduct what the Bible calls the "Separation of the Sheep and the Goats." The Goats are the people who have fallen away from the truth. They are the cursed however to the sheep he says,  “Come, ye blessed of my Father, inherit the kingdom prepared for you from the foundation of the world.”

THE GOATS, the "unredeemed," will be cast into the Lake of Fire, where they will be tortured with the second death never to live again

THE SHEEP, the "Redeemed," will live with Jesus on earth for a 1000 years, after which, He will hand over the kingdom to his father and than god will be all in all and than death will be know more.)

BIBLE REFERENCE see Revelation Chapter 14 and 20

2 And he took up his parable and said -Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, which the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.

[*And he took up his parable [so that while SEEING, they may see and not perceive, and while HEARING, they may hear and not UNDERSTAND;] and said "Enoch, a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One (God) in the heavens, which the Angels (of God) showed me and from them, I heard everything; and from them, I understood as I saw, but (what I saw, and what I heard was) not for this (my) generation, but for a remote one which is 3.) for to come (in the Last Days)."]

but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. (in the Last Days)."] (The generation "to come" that Enoch alludes to in Verse 3. above is this generation, "Our Generation.
" The generation that will see the climax of all the dreams, visions, insights, experiences and wisdom given to Enoch by God concerning the last generation come to pass

(Matthew 24:1-51, Mark 13-14 and Luke 21:1-32 describe the events what will take place in the last generation.

After describing the events that will take place in the last generation, both Matthew and Mark conclude with this statement:)

BIBLE REFERENCE: [*MATTHEW 24:32 and LUKE 21:32 Even so, when you see all these things, you know that it is near, right at the door. I tell you the truth, this generation will certainly not pass away, until all these things have happened.] NIV

(The passage above "All these things" refered to in MATTHEW 24:32 and LUKE 21:32 include the taking away of the Church to the Judgement site of christ, the invasion of Israel by Russia and her Arab allies. The Last Generation began on May 15, 1948 the day Israel was reborn as a nation).

3 Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them: The Holy Great One will come forth from His dwelling,
4 And the eternal God will tread upon the earth, (even) on Mount Sinai, [And appear from His camp] And appear in the strength of His might from the heaven of heavens.

(Verses 4. below describe the Second Coming of Our Lord Jesus Christ. To Mount Sinai)

Concerning the Elect (the Redeemed), I (Enoch) said and took up my parable concerning them. [*The Holy Great One (who is Jesus Christ) will come forth from His dwelling (place in the Third Heaven, from His Throne in the sides of the North).
And the Eternal God (Jesus and the glorified saints) will tread upon the earth, even on Mount Sinai, and appear from His camp (marching to Jerusalem) and appear in the strength of His might from the Heaven of Heavens.] ( His throne in the Jerusalem, the Heaven of Heavens is the political heavens)

The Eternal God is the son of man the multitudinous Christ

Exodus 19:16-20 – a foretaste of Christ’s return

(And the whole church will be gathered to Mount Sinai on the day of His appearing He  will appear with the Angels of God. And for 10 years the Judgement site of christ will take place near its at the same time the invasion of Israel by Russia and her Arab allies will take place after the judgement  christ and the saints with the Angels of God will make their way to the Mount of Olives,

Song of Solomon 3:6 says this: “Who is this that cometh out of the wilderness like pillars of smoke?

These are the verses that show that the route of the second coming of Jesus Christ at Mount Sinai and ends at the Mount of Olives; Zechariah 14, Habakkuk 3, Isaiah 63, Psalm 68, Judges 5, and Deuteronomy 33.

This gives us the rout that our Lord is going to take when He comes back at the Second Advent.

From Sinai into the Holy: Psalm 68:17

“The chariots of God twenty thousand thousands of angels, the Lord among them, Sinai into the holy”.

“With mighty chariotry, twice ten thousand, thousands upon thousands, the Lord came from Sinai into the holy place”.

The companion Bible reads: “from Sinai into his sanctuary”.

The starting point is Sinai, and the place arrived at is his sanctuary at Zion.

the chariots of God, the cherubic manifestation, coming from Sinai to the Sanctuary. Israel did not come to Zion when they took the land under Joshua. But the saints will come to Zion, and “ascend into the hill of the Lord”, and “stand in his holy place” (Psalm 24). So the words are a prophecy of a future happening, not a record of the past; this coming from Sinai to the Sanctuary is future.

5 And all shall be smitten with fear and the Watchers shall quake, and great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth.

5.) [*And all (who dwell on the earth) shall (see Him and) be smitten with fear and the Watchers (the church leaders and the world rulers who rebelled against God and joined the beast) shall quake, and great fear and trembling shall seize them unto the ends of the earth].

(the saints will appear with Jesus at His Second Coming, they will participate in the judgment against the earth and against the unredeemed who dwell on the earth. This responsibility is for all the holy saints see Psalm 149).

6 And the high mountains shall be shaken, and the high hills shall be made low, and shall melt like wax before the flame

6.) [*And the high mountains shall be shaken, and the high hills shall be made low (on the day Jesus returns and establishes peace on earth for a 1000 years)].

7 And the earth will moved, and everything that is on the earth will be destroyed, and there will be judgement upon all, and upon all the righteous. (men).

7.) and there shall be a judgment upon all (the unredeemed sinners who dwell on the earth from the beginning to that day).

8 But with the righteous, He will make peace. And will protect the elect, and mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God, and they shall all be blessed. And He will help them all, And light shall appear unto them, And He will make peace with them'.

8.) But with the Righteous (the Redeemed), He (Jesus) will make peace (with them unto eternal life) and (He) will protect the Elect (the Redeemed Jews and the Redeemed Gentiles, who survive the battle of Armageddon). And mercy shall be upon them. And they shall all belong to God;  and they shall all be blessed. And He will help them all, and (the) Light (that is the Light of Christ) shall appear unto them and He (Jesus) will make peace with them.

(Verse 9. continues to describe Jesus' Second Coming with His saints, and the judgment of the unrighteous who dwell on the earth.)

9 And behold! He cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones
To execute judgement upon all, And to destroy all the ungodly: And to convict all flesh Of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed, And of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him.

9.) [*And Behold! He (Jesus) cometh with ten thousands of His holy ones (the Angels of God, and the Redeemed Jews and the Redeemed Gentiles, who have been taken to Sinai, prior to the invasion of Israel by Russia and her Arab allies) to execute judgment upon all (the unrighteous), and to destroy all the ungodly (unredeemed sinners who dwell on the earth): And to convict all flesh of all the works of their ungodliness which they have ungodly committed (against the Redeemed) and of all the hard things which ungodly sinners have spoken against Him (God)].

The rebuilt temple in the Book of Enoch

The rebuilt temple in the Book of Enoch

The Letter of BARNABAS QUOTES FROM the Book of ENOCH

Barnabas 4:3
The last offence is at hand, concerning which the scripture speaketh, as Enoch saith. For to this end the Master hath cut the seasons and the days short, that His beloved might hasten and come to His
inheritance.

Barnabas 16:5
Again, it was revealed how the city and the temple and the people of Israel should be betrayed. For the scripture saith; And it shall be in the last days, that the Lord shall deliver up the sheep of the pasture and the fold and the tower thereof to destruction. And it came to pass as the Lord spake.

This shows us that 'Barnabas' considered the first book of Enoch to be canonical by calling it scripture.

Enoch 89.56 And I saw that He forsook that their house and their tower and gave them all into the hand of the lions, to tear and devour them, into the hand of all the wild beasts.

Barnabas 16:6
But let us enquire whether there be any temple of God. There is; in the place where he himself undertakes to make and finish it. For it is written And it shall come to pass, when the week is being accomplished, the temple of God shall be built gloriously in the name of the Lord.

Enoch 91.13 And, at its end, they will acquire Houses because of their righteousness, and a House will be built for the Great King in Glory, forever.

Jesus will supervise the building of a glorious Temple in Jerusalem and be involved with the worship therein.

"After this I will return, and will build again the tabernacle of David, which is fallen down; and I will build again the ruins thereof, and set it up: that the residue of men might seek after the Lord..." (Acts 15:16,17)

Behold, the man whose name is the Branch (a title of Christ); and he shall grow up out of his place, and he shall build the temple of the Lord; even he shall build the temple of the Lord; and he shall bear the glory, and shall sit and rule upon his throne; and he shall be a priest upon his throne; and the counsel of peace shall be between them both" (Zechariah 6:12-13).

"My house shall be called an house of prayer for all people" (Isaiah 56:7).

The Parable of the Fallen Watchers 1Enoch

The parable of the fallen Watchers

The words of the blessing of Enoch, wherewith he blessed the elect ⌈and⌉ righteous, who will be living in the day of tribulation, when all the wicked ⌈and godless⌉ are to be removed. 2. And he took up his parable and said--Enoch a righteous man, whose eyes were opened by God, saw the vision of the Holy One in the heavens, ⌈which⌉ the angels showed me, and from them I heard everything, and from them I understood as I saw, but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.

3. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. (in the Last Days)."
The Last Days

1Enoch 1:3. Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come.

(The generation "to come" that Enoch alludes to in Verse 3 above is the generation from "200 BC to 135 AD,

you will remember that God said to Abraham that after 400 years He would deliver Israel, "...in the fourth generation." A generation in the Bible is normally 40 years long. However, here a generation is 100 years (4 x 100 = 400 years).

The Book of Enoch is not a record of the pre-flood history of the world it is an apocalyptic record about the last days of the Jewish people

The writers of the apocalyptic books glances at the contemporary history of the world around him, to which many a cryptic reference is made. However, these references are only made with a view to comforting the oppressed and affected with the thought that even the mightiest of earthly powers are shortly to be overthrown by the advent of the new and glorious era. So that every reference to the present is merely a position taken up from which to point to the future

The Book of Enoch should first be understood as histor
allegorized which is the nature of apocalyptic literature. Secondly it can be understood as a prophecy of the End Times therefore we can read again

but not for this generation, but for a remote one which is for to come. (in the Last Days)."] (The generation "to come" that Enoch alludes to in Verse 3. above is the generation from the
Maccabean Revolt till the time of King Herod the Great, not our Generation.

“‘And in the last days,’ God says, ‘I shall pour out some of my spirit upon every sort of flesh . . . And I will give signs in heaven above and signs on earth below, blood and fire and smoke mist; the sun will be turned into darkness and the moon into blood before the great day of the Lord arrives.’” (Ac 2:16-20)

In this case “the last days” preceded “the great day of the Lord” which “day” apparently brought “the last days” to their conclusion. (Compare Zep 1:14-18; Mal 4:5; Mt 11:13, 14;)

Since Peter addressed natural Jews and Jewish converts, his words must have had particular reference to them and evidently indicated that they were living in “the last days” of the then-existing Jewish system of things with its center of worship at Jerusalem.

Parable
And he took up his parable and said....Concerning the elect I said, and took up my parable concerning them

The parable is concerning the Elect on the subject of or in connection with; the Elect it is about them and meant for them alone

what does parable mean?

a simple story used to illustrate a moral or spiritual lesson,

English “proverb” or “parable.”

A “proverb” embodies a truth in expressive language, often metaphorically, and a “parable” is a comparison or similitude, a short, usually fictitious, story from which a moral or spiritual truth is drawn.

"And the scribes which came down from Jerusalem said, He hath Beelzebub, and by the prince of the demons casteth he out demons. And he called them unto him, and said unto them in parables, How can Satan cast out Satan?" (Mark 3: 22, 23).’

The Book of Enoch should be understood in the same way we would understand the book of Revelation

Revelation 1:1 The Revelation of Jesus Christ, which God gave to him, to show to his servants things which must shortly come to pass; and he sent and signified it by his angel to his servant John: (Revelation 1:1 AVKJ)

"Signified it." That is, revealed it by many signs and symbols which he deems to be comprehensible and enlightening to the " bondservants " as to " scribes instructed unto the kingdom of heaven " (Matt. 13:52), who bring out of their treasures (the Scriptures) things new and old. "

He indicated them by sign:

A revelation by Jesus Christ, which God gave him, to show his slaves the things that must shortly take place. And he sent his angel and presented it in signs through him to his slave John (Revelation 1:1 NWT)

"It was not sent in plain form, but in an enigma or sign form. To 'signify' is to represent by sign or symbol. That this is what is meant by the use of the verb 'signify' in this case is shown conclusively by what John saw and heard. He saw certain things which he describes, and concerning these he is repeatedly informed that the mystery or meaning of what he saw was this and that

The same method of imparting knowledge was delivered to the prophets —Hos. 12:10.

The Story of the fallen Watchers in the Book of Enoch should be understood as a parable a revelation or apocalypse given in signs and symbols it should not be interpreted literally

the relationship in the story between cosmos and society is analogical the myth is a allegory the myth reflects a certain attitude toward society the hidden meaning

Thus the Book of Enoch is an allegory or parable about the events leading up to the Maccabean Revolt till the time of King Herod the Great

14 King Antiochus had gone to the temple with some of his most trusted advisers, so that he might marry the goddess and then take away most of the temple treasures as a wedding gift. 15 After the priests had laid out the treasure, he and a few of his men went into the temple to collect it. But the priests closed the doors behind him 16 and stoned him and his men from trap doors hidden in the ceiling. Then they cut up the bodies and threw the heads to the people outside. 17 Praise God for punishing those evil men! Praise him for everything!
The Watchers
woch’-er (Aramaic ‘ir, "wakeful one"): In Nebuchadnezzar’s dream (Da 4:13,17,23 (MT 10,14,20)) a messenger who with "a holy one" descended from heaven, they having joint authority to issue decrees. In the apocryphal literature the doctrine of the "watchers" is much elaborated. In Jubilees they are regarded as angels sent to instruct mankind in righteousness. In Enoch they sometimes appear as archangels and at other times as fallen angels. In the latter condition only we find them in the Book of Adam and Eve. The place of descent was according to Enoch 6:6 the summit of Mt. Hermon.

Daniel 4:17  This matter [is] by the decree of the watchers, and the demand by the word of the holy ones: to the intent that the living may know that the most High ruleth in the kingdom of men, and giveth it to whomsoever he will, and setteth up over it the basest of men.

13 “‘I continued beholding in the visions of my head upon my bed, and, look! a watcher, and a holy one, coming down from the heavens themselves.

Jer 4:16  Make ye mention to the nations; behold, publish against Jerusalem, [that] watchers come from a far country, and give out their voice against the cities of Judah.

When it comes to the account of the fallen angels we should not understand this literally but has an allegory of corruption within the Jewish Priesthood The priests who, similar to the sons of God in Genesis 6, violated the boundaries of the cultural purity by marrying non-Israelite women

Therefore the language about the fallen Watchers and the angels approaching God indicates that some of the angels are understood to be priests in Enoch 10:11 in which God accuses the watchers of defiling themselves with women in their uncleanness should be understood as marrying non-Israelite women

The fallen angels who commit fornication should be understood as criticism against the Jerusalem priesthood

the text is concerned with purity of the angels themselves and the pollution of their bodies that results from taking human wives the effects of the angels actions on the human race is secondry

the angels have defiled themselves through contact with women 10:9-117:1 9:8

the  incongruity of marriages of angels and women is underlined by 1 en 15:4-12 which claims that spirits are immortal and therefore have no need of women while men are mortal and therefore need wives "so that nothing should be lacking for them on earth 15:5"

The Apocalypse of Weeks The Book of Enoch

The Apocalypse of Weeks

The Apocalypse of Weeks

93.1 After this, Enoch began to speak from a book:

93.2 And Enoch said: "Concerning the sons of righteousness, and concerning the elect ones of the world, [throughout the whole 7,000 year period] and concerning the plant of righteousness and uprightness, I will speak these things to you, and make them known to you, my children. In consequence of that which has been shown to me, from my heavenly vision and from the voice of the Watchers and Holy Ones have I acquired knowledge; and from the tablet of heaven have I acquired understanding."

93.3 And Enoch then began to speak from a book, and said: "I was born the seventh, in the first week, [It doesn’t give reference as to when this week actually starts, however it appears that each week is a 700 year period for all ten of them to fit into a 7,000 year period. Interestingly this is like saying a week (7,000 years) ten times of weeks (700 years)! And since it says he was “born the seventh” (and there is a second witness to this in 1:14) I am making the start date of the first week on 3993 BC at the “founding of the world” when Adam sinned as it seems to fit perfectly throughout the whole “ten part” time period (one could use 3992 when Cain was born but in this scope of time it would make little difference]
while justice and righteousness still lasted. [this “period of  tranquillity” is the time period from Adam and Eve getting new garments of skin to the end of the day of rest that Jehovah had gone into – so from 3993BC to 2993 which would take the period of  tranquillity well into the second of the ten weeks that Enoch describes in great detail with regard to the flood and Noah’s time]

93.4 And, after me, [after 3040BC when Enoch is transferred (Hb 11:5)] in the second week, [3293 - 2593BC] great injustice will arise, and deceit will have sprung up.[this marks the time when the sons of god the seed of Seth and the seed of Cain commit the many grievous crimes upon the earth as recorded in Chapter 9 of Enoch and Genesis 6]. And in it [the second week] there will be the First End, and in it, a man will be saved. Meaning that Noah a righteous person is delivered 7But when the first [week] is completed, iniquity shall grow up; and during the second week he shall execute the decree [the one made in Chapter 14] upon sinners [both the sons of god and the sons of men - the execution of the decree being the deluge on those who do not enter the Ark which occurred from 2371 to 2370BC. So this too fits in well with the story of Noah and the end of this particular week].

93.5 And after this in the third week, at its end, a man will be elected as the Plant of Righteous judgement [this “man” being Abraham]; , and after him will come the Plant of Righteousness, forever. [future event – one who comes from the seed of Abraham - Jesus].

93.6 And after this,, in the fourth week [1893 – 1193BC], during its completion, the visions of the holy and the righteous shall be seen [the time of Moses and the visions on Mt. Sinai], and a Law for all generations take place [Moses’ prophecies concerning the coming Christ (a prophet like him –Dt 18:15)], and a habitation shall be made for them [the Promised Land by covenant].

93.7 And after this, in the fifth week [1193 – 493BC], at its end [or during its completion that is toward the end of the week], a House of Glory and Sovereignty will be built forever. The house is not the temple but the house of David  The Davidic line (also referred to as the House of David

93.8 And after this, in the sixth week [493BC – 209AD], all those who live in it [the house of dominion] will be darkened. [the Jewish system was one of the darkest under the Mosaic Law at the hands of the Pharisees], the hearts of all of them shall be forgetful of wisdom [they focus on the Law and maintaining a yoke on people instead of listening to the wisdom of God], and in it shall a Man [Immanuel/Jesus] arise and come forth [as the Messiah].
And during its completion [toward the end of the sixth week] He shall burn the house of dominion with fire [the judgment and consequent destruction of the temple and the fall of Jerusalem (70AD)], and all the race of the elect root shall be dispersed [the Diaspora].

93.9 Afterwards, in the seventh week [209AD – 909AD], an apostate generation shall arise [under the Roman Catholic Church]; and many shall be its deeds, and all its deeds perverse [intense persecution and death to any “true” Christian who would question their teachings or authority or try to translate the bible in other languages etc…]. During its completion [towards its end], the righteous shall be selected from the everlasting plant of righteousness [those who were under the alter in rev 6 and the 144‘000 of rev 7]; and to them shall be given the sevenfold doctrine of his whole creation [ they will function as witnesses of righteouseness  Unfortunately they had to hide this knowledge to keep it from being destroyed by the church].

91.12 And after this there will be another week; the eighth , that of righteousness [909AD – 1609AD], to which shall be given a sword to execute judgment and justice upon all oppressors [the Lollards movement, Protestant movement (Luther), Wycliffe accomplished translating the bible in English and it was well on its way to being the most published book in the history of the world as it became a global phenomenon – it was the Word of God (the sword) that executed judgment and justice (not physical but spiritual) on anyone who denied the power of the Old Testament and the Gospels].  and the sinners will be handed over into the hands of the righteous. [the “sinners” of the “middle ages” or “medieval times” were eventually subdued by the rise of the European powers and delivered into their hands],

91.13 And, at its end, [toward the end of the week] they [the elect ] shall acquire habitations by their righteousness  and a House [the “body” which is comprised of those who truly tried to bring God back into the everyday lives of men] will be built for the Great King in Glory, forever.

91.14) And all mankind shall look to the path of uprightness. And after that, in the ninth week, [1609AD – 2309AD] the righteous judgement shall be revealed to the whole world, [this is the time period we are now in, when the kingdom of God will be set up in the earth and righteous judgement shall be revealed to the whole world. The real “terrifiers” (Is 13) will be taken out of the way] And all the works of the godless shall vanish from all the earth, [not all of the people shall be destroyed but the work shall disappear];  And the world [the order of things or the system of things] shall be written down for destruction. [those who got the mark of the beast and worshipped it while blaspheming God and His truth are bound for Gehenna to be destroyed]; and all men [both good and evil] shall be on the watch for the path of integrity [all men, will look for the Christ and His brothers for understanding and guidance]. This period must continue for 300 years well into the Kingdom of God on earth under the new heavenly administration]

91.15 And after this, matter on the tenth week [2309 - 3009AD], in the seventh part, [not “seventh day” - this seventh part being the last 100 years 2909AD-3009AD] there shall be an everlasting judgment [on the last day of the tenth week those who have died during the 1000 years will be brought out  of the grave to be judged], which shall be executed by the Watchers of the eternal heaven  [upon the archons or world rulers of this age]; the great judgment which shall come from all of the angels [the angels are the sanits and the end of all that is evil will come as death itself is swallowed up forever - Amen!]

91.16 And the First Heaven will vanish and pass away and a New Heaven will appear, and all the Powers of Heaven will shine forever, with sevenfold light.

91.17 And after this, there will be many weeks without number, forever, [after the 1,000 year when God is all in all],  in goodness and in righteousness. And from then on sin will never again be mentioned. there will be no more remembrance of it
